HELP! First sale DLR pick-up

Hello wonderful DPF community,

I will be heading to DLR at opening for the first 3 Tuesdays in August. I would like to offer pick ups as I don’t see any sales up currently. But I have never done this and don’t want to get overwhelmed or, even worse, screw things up.

I don’t sell stuff generally, but I do have a PayPal account. What do I need to know to make this a smooth endeavor?

Thanks for thinking about and helping other members.

Required disclosures:
- List prices for each item (suggestion: for OE pins you could list what your price will be for each color coded price option.)
- List postage costs for shipping to members
- Tracking for shipments

Recommend:
- If you are doing pick-ups it is impossible to list all the pins you have the potential to pick up, but I suggest listing the LE pins releasing the week you will be at DLR
- Insurance
- Providing feedback (both the seller and the buyer)

Payments are made via Paypal on DPF, so you are set there.

Payments must be made as Paypal good (which adds a small fee to the seller - details are in the paypal disclosures for how the small fee is calculated.)

You might want to consider setting up an account on a secondary platform to ship. I personally use Pirateship.com to ship my mail trades.

I have a reservation for DL tomorrow. Gonna do some good ole' fashion Pin Tradin' AND Spread-Some-Disney-Easter-Magic.

If anyone needs a Pick Up, Drop a comment below, PM me, or text me.

Price(s): Retail + Tax + Shipping ($5 first 4 ounces; .50 cents each add'lt ounce) + Paypal as Goods.

Thanks. I was waiting for Connie’s pick-up thread. Not seeing one or hearing back from her, I decided to go offer this for August. I copied and pasted her June pick up info. It was very helpful.
