Hey! My Name is Sherrer. I have been interested in Pin Trading for a few years now but really did not get into collecting or trading until a few months ago when I discovered the big online presence of it. I had always thought of it as a park thing and never could get to the parks all that often. I look forward to learning new tips and more about the online pin community! I love collecting mystery box pins and mostly collect Goofy pins, but in my venture for Goofy, I have started collections of Donald and all the ducks really, cinderella, and different Disney dogs.

Hi Sherrer. Oh no not another Disney Dog person! Just kidding welcome to DPF. Lots of wonderful people here. I have two dogs and four cats. 21 chickens, 18 sheep, 2 steers, 1 horse and 1 donkey. BTW I collect Disney Cats!!

Hello, welcome, it's so funny because the online pin trading world has really opened up what pins go all over the place. I always find myself amused that I'm too far from a lot of the huge pin events in places far from the parks like texas and ohio!
This is a good point. There are pin trading in-person events all over also. DPF maintains a calendar of pin related events (both the online ones and in-person).

Welcome to the forum and collecting/trading! :lgm: Definitely plenty of opportunities to trade without being in/near a park.

Hi Sherrer! I collect Goofy, too. Do you have a favorite pin that you've acquired for your collection or one that you're really, really wanting to find?
I really loving the goofy doing things or goofy as pins, but I actually haven't gotten any in my collection yet. My want list just keeps growing with me searching on pin and pop!

I have a growing farm too! I have 1 dog (she is basically my child), 2 cats, 4 ducks (named Donald, Huey, Louie, and Dewey; hence my interest in Donald and fam pins), and 13 chickens. And all of those I got this year except for my dog, so we will see what 2026 brings me for pins and animals!

What online presence have you checked out so far? I spend my pin trading time on the pin centric websites (here, pinandpop and pinpics) and not general ones (ie, facebook, instagram, etc).

Welcome!
Same really. I stumbled on whatnot for getting a lot of current park pins, that really started my collection and snowballed into pinandpop for tracking my collection, then I experienced my first trade arcade in November and discovered here. Im a quiet person in life and online so I was on here for awhile but just nervous about posting. I am not really big on social media.

I know it has made me really want to travel to a big pin event, I have been looking in 2026.

We’re happy to have you! I know I speak for others when I say pictures of farm family are welcome!

I don't have any data to back this up, but a lot of pin people don't join or post on DPF and just view the information. And that is perfectly acceptable, but I really love it when people post and improve the content available on DPF.
