Returned from DLRP with new pins! :D

Hi everyone!

I had a beyond amazing time in Disneyland Paris with my boyfriend and wanted to show off my new pins and well my collection as a whole

So prepare for pin picstures!



The middle lanyard on the joint pics is the one I took with me and everything on there apart from Ariel heart, Big Thunder Mountain Error and Dopey are new the pins above it are also new

I went through A LOT of pins whilst there so I'm sad I don't have pics of them all

I did got to the pin trade night! It was very daunting for a first time there but the cast members were so lovely and welcomed me and explained everything perfectly. I was pleased to see some adorable pins there but no one who had pins I wanted spoke English so I didn't get much trading done sadly . Did enjoy it though and I was happy I went and was also happy with the people who were on the PTN pins

Aye that is the annoying part, I was able to make a few trades when I attended my first one, Nadia was such a help explaining stuff I liked her and Patirck, the other CMs I thought were a bit rude. I found when I was there the non-french traders like Dutch or Finnish were more kind and could talk to. I still think they cater more for the french though as I remember seeing french people putting pins on and off the boards and when I tried the same I got shouted at lol

I think I know the two cast members you mean actually! They were really friendly and helpful. I wish I'd found some of the Dutch/Finnish traders as I'd have loved to talk to some traders there. I'm still not 100% on which pins are rare and which are rack/traders so I was worried to look at some of them. I did see one stand with the Snow White in a heart pin ( I have the Ariel version up for trade atm) in the "limited edition" section behind glass so I was amazed that mine was clearly so desirable. People were staring at my lanyard loads too and after a while I worked out that it was that pin they were looking at.

I was desperately trying to spot the Rapunzel Pin Doll but no one had it and no shops did either

I did see both the Tink and the Snow White Pin dolls though, and the chip and dale pair

We go the beginning of June - no PTN sadly but I will be looking to buy (and trade) some pins. Myself and my little DDs both collect pins although we only started around February this year so very new to it all. I've heard some horror stories about pin trading in Paris but I've been given a few names of nice CMs to look out for and because my girls are young, I'm hoping they'll be nice to them We only have about 8 pins to trade between us (6 LEs and 2 core pins). I've heard they are keener on non Paris pins for obvious reasons.

This is our third trip to DLRP - we love it, but we haven't been to the US yet. I want to wait another 3 years or so, so that my youngest DD will manage the flight better and be able to appreciate it more.

You got a great haul anyway - I'd love the Rapunzel doll pin for my DD1 (she collects Rapunzel/Tangled) but alas it doesn't seem like it is to be!

The saddest part of my holiday (other than 2 days of cancelled parades ! ) was that I took the cable from my PS3 controllers not from my camera so I couldn't charge it at all. Disney didn't have the right cable (despite selling kodak cameras with the same connectors as mine) so I only got about 12 photos and a few from my poor phone camera meaning that I obviously saved my battery for pics of me and the bf.

I can remember most of what I saw though so if you want a particular one then just pop up a pic/pinpics link and I'll know if I saw it or not hopefully
