So I'm looking at the USPS website I saw that you can print out the mailing label before hand. Has anyone done that before? do you tape it to the bubble mailer?

Thanks guys. :)

Some post offices (like mine) will not accept the label if there is any tape on the area with the barcode on it. Just a warning for you! Once I printed off a label for a large flat rate box ($15.95) and ended up having to throw it away because the post office wouldn't take it. So, if you are unsure, go in and check their policies before taping! :)

You could have voided the label and got a refund... lol

Wow. They must be overly anal, because you can definitely scan the label through tape (as long as it's clear tape obviously). I always fully tape my labels and they scan them right in for me when I drop them off at the desk.

My post office workers are insane, and very very rude. They ripped it out of my hands and threw it away ;-;
I had no idea you can void it, they didn't tell me at all. Well now I know!

Wow. Also, if they refused to take it and didn't use the label, you don't need your a copy of it to void it. Just go to the program and void it from there.

Wow really? Well then. If only I had a time machine lol. Its too late to get it back now I'm sure

Yup! I know that PayPal shipping assistant has that option so I am sure that the USPS website has that option. :) I've never looked into how long you have to void the label but I know I have had to reprint the label because I used the wrong color highlighter (green instead of pink for signature confirmation).

I think you have up until a week to void the label. Though it might only be 3-4 days. I ended up doing that a couple times last year.

USPS now does much the same thing Paypal shipnow does.

Do not put any tape over your barcode.
Tape the entire edge of the label if you dont use the label paper with a sticker back.
check your shipping date before confirming and printing. Sometimes it actually has the wrong date in it. ((like once it gave me a sunday date. go figure))
