When I first started pin collecting, I just bought pins which I liked (which I still will do at the parks ^_^)

But i've decided I want my collections to be Pocahontas, Beauty and the Beast, as these are my 2 favourite princess films and a side collection of little mermaid :)!

Also the disney dreams pins (which are causing so much drama and stress at the moment :() and world of color pins :D

Yay! So glad to have finally decided on what I want my collections to be ^_^!

Also, what pins do you guys collect? And do you have pictures of your collections? Love seeing pictures ^_^

I did the same thing. Whatever looked pretty. lol But narrowed it down pretty quickly. However, we still have quite a list but there is 3 of us that collect. A couple overlap and are shared. Good luck!
 
Good luck with your Dreams collection! I'm having nothing but bad luck so far with the set. My first order for BATB didn't went though, but I luckily reordered in time, only to fall out with Yodel over delievery. And now all the fuse about the Tangled pin..

I also collect BATB, and I've been considering a Pocahontas collection for a while now, she was my favourite for years, to the point where I knew the movie word for word [like I now do with Phantom of the Opera]. For now, I'm trying to focus on mainly Sleeping beauty [no surprise there], but I'm also collecting Snow White, BATB, Cinderella, Brave and Tangled.
 
I did the opposite. I narrowed my collection to just stitch when I first began pin trading, but over this year I expanded my collection. It overlapped in such a weird way. It went from stitch to stitch invasions to mad hatter to jessica to ursula, basically a hot mess. Now I'm picking up anything that catches my eye with an emphasis on stitch, Tiana/PATF, Ursula, and Lady Tremaine.

Thats great that theres 3 of you :)! Must make collecting a bit cheaper too haha!

I love PATF!! It's one of my favourite movies ^_^! yes! I cant resist a pretty pin when i'm in the parks!

It's causing so much stress this stupid collection :(! May 7th is going to be a horrible and stressful morning!!! I am going to be so dissapointed if I can't get the pin!

Haha! I'm exactly like that with Pocahontas, Beauty and the Beast and Emperor's new groove! I can just quote the whole movie word for word!!! Aw i love sleeping beauty ^_^! The good and bad thing about Pocahontas is there isn't many pins for her, so it's good for saving money...but bad cause there isnt many to collect! But beauty and the beast makes up for it! haha

I've also decided to just collect the pins which have Pocahontas, Belle, Beast/Prince and Ariel in :)! Cause i'm not too bothered about pins with just mrs potts in etc.! Apart from the dreams one, but that was for my collection...i wish it had belle and the beast on the frame though :C!!
 
I used to do that as well. Whatever pin I happened to like, I'd get XD. After a while, I started picking what I wanted to collect. I collect Wreck-it Ralph, The Aristocats, The Lion King, and The Fox and the Hound :).
 
When I first started I collected pins of Walt himself and pins of Mickey as sorcerer but switched a year and a half a go to BatB, Tangled and Little Mermaid and just recently I started a collection of Oliver (the kitten from Oliver & Co gladly there aren't many pins of him) :)
 
My collections were so narrow that I started collecting the Pin Trader Delight pins and am finding it's kind of fun to collect pins that have different characters in them and are more colors. :) Just mickey, minnie and mickey icons primarily had me in a bit of a rut, so expanding has been really good for me. Of course, I've collected over 40 of the PTD pins in less than a month!!!

But...I have to say... I have one of the pins in my signature coming, so I'm pretty excited about that! I'll have show n tell once it arrives. :)
 
My main collection used to be Stitch but since returning to pin trading I dont want to collect stitch anymore lol

for the moment my collections are -

Disney Dreams / Disneyland Paris related pins - 20th Anniv pins
Chip and Dale - mainly Dale
Nightmare before Christmas - mainly Lock, Shock and Barell - mainly Barell

but I want a proper collection to get going again, I was thinking either Aladdin or Beauty and the Beast
 
My main collection is Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs. I'll always put the most time in collecting those. However, I do have smaller collections from my favorite movies. As of right now I have collections of between 3-20 pins (my Snow White collection is at least half my collection) of Ariel, Aurora, Rapunzel, Mulan, Pocahontas, and Jasmine. I plan on starting a Chip & Dale collection but I have a feeling that will just turn into a mini one as well. I keep going back to only having a main collection of Snow White.
 
I collect Beauty and the Beast, and Lady and the Tramp... My two favorite Disney movies. Plus, I have a side collection of Villains. I also get an odd pin here and there just because I like it, usually something Disney Dogs or just something that makes me laugh. I just recently decided to hold off on collecting Stitch for a little while, so I can focus more on my main collections. :)
