2014 Designer Dolls - Fairytale Collection Part II
You could always also ask the Disney store cast members how long it'll take.
You can tell them that you have to get back to work ASAP and maybe if they're not in a bad mood will do it a couple of minutes early.

It all depends. The thing I want to tell people here is to stand up for these cast members. I know that there are people out there who will explode at a Cast member for not pulling their names. So if that happens, guys, please stand up to those bullies. Cast Members are usually the nicest people you'll meet and I can't image the pain they've been through this past year due to Frozen.

So much yes to this. Cast members are wonderful people and they get a lot of crap for things beyond their control im sure. Dont let someone get all angry at them over a doll. The raffle is all fair game, and even if they don't win during the raffle, they always have another chance online.

Anyone from the UK know what it's like going to store to get the dolls? I've never tried in store but I'm going to next week, but how is it? Busy, not as busy as you think?

From what i've heard it is no where near as bad as it is as it is in the US. Although this year may be different now that more people are aware of them.

Also just FYI the UK actually releases these dolls online and in store on the same day, so online at 8am UK time (9am France) and in store on the same day when the store opens. Unlike the US that releases in store first at 12pm then online at 12am i.e the day after. So just something to think about as well.

I am probably only going to get Pocahontas and Mulan from this collection.... I just recently moved to Southern California and just had to spend $350.00 today on new tires.....I know being a grown up can really suck sometimes lol. I would also love to get briar rose, I might sell off a couple of past designer dolls to put the money towards Briar. I actually enjoy the 17inch dolls and I hope to get Maleficent and maybe Phillip depending on how he looks;) but good luck to everyone who is trying for the set, I think I'm going to stick to online because I don't like waiting for the raffle process

The raffle shouldn't take too long, usually they just draw the names out starting from 12pm (but it can vary from store to store) so really it shouldn't even take 15 minutes for them to draw the names, especially if your store only holds a few dolls on hand. Depending on how close the store is to your office you may be able to pull it off but you might have to warn your office that you may be a little late?
The official raffle ticket says names go in between noon and 1p and raffle drawing starting at 1:10p...it's weird but that's exactly how my store conducted the raffle also...it depends on how many dolls are available on how long it takes. When your name is called you go straight to the register to check out so it can still go rather quickly especially if you're called early!

Wow...what a snarky bunch of people here in the doll collecting side of things. Yall should lighten up or you are just going to let lazy dumb idiots like me keep ruining your days on forums and social media.

I apologize if I was rude, I didn't intend to be.

Can't wait to see some nice high quality pictures of our first couple although Tiana and Naveen is my least favourite couple from this group :)

Yeah I tried for the march frozen ones online, that was just awful! So I would rather go to the store that way I can get it that day and also show up extremely early, I only want Pocahontas so will see what happens tomorrow then ring up my local Disney store who will be getting them to see how tomorrow went and roughly what time to get there

In person, they became my favorite from the set, and I think they were my least favorite from pics. So you never know :)
I've heard that there is a great difference between pictures and seeing the real dolls. Unfortunately I do not have the chance to see them in person but I think that pictures by drj1828 are almost as good as seeing them in person :)

I also just moved to California and had to put 450 towards a new part. But nothing is going to get in my way of getting these designers haha!

I still hated Naveen in person. He looked better than the pictures but I still wasn't impressed with him.

I'm debating on whether or not to get Pocahontas. I'll definitely be getting Mulan. I love her so much

Yeah I was very disappointed with the sculpt of Naveen i think the guys from the first set were better quality

Thanks for the link! I found it, I can still put her in my basket now! I'm not getting her but just wanted to see what it's like as next week is when I'll need to be getting my game face on!

It's hard to judge from this release how quick the next ones will sell. Last year Snow White lasted a month! But Belle and Ariel was very quick. I'm guessing Cinderella and Briar Rose are the only two that will be difficult to get.

It seems their is little to no excitement for Tiana lol

Tiana is the least popular doll out of the 5, so it was only expected that it would take longer for her to sell out.

Yes, it was a very quiet release at the DisneyStore Champs-Elysées.
But I am so glad to have my Tiana ♥ (I think that Naveen is not really great, but in the first serie, I just like Aladdin and Eric^^)
I am sure the nbext release will be this quiet too ^^
Because it is so sunny today, I could not wait to debox them :

I think they look very cute together, and I love Tiana's face ^^

Couple things
1. Has anyone ever gone to the store and not actually gotten the doll they put their name in for and had to order online?
2. I need to express some anxiety, just moved to California from Connecticut. Back home I knew all the workers and most of the regulars who would get the dolls. Here, I have never been to the Disney Store I am going to to get the doll at, I have yet to even see the dolls in person and I know absolutely no workers or fellow collectors out here. So I am really going into this blindly, hence me asking if anyone wasn't actually able to get the doll they wanted in store. Can't wait to hear back from you guys, wish me luck! :)

Lovely pictures! They do look alot better then on the promo pictures. I didn't even notice Tianas dimples and eyebrows. And Naveen looks much better, too. I like this facemold better than the calssic doll Naveens.

This happened last year for me with the Beauty and the Beast set. They sold out online fast, too, so I was lucky I got through. It's hard to predict how Disney dolls will sell post-Frozen, though.

There weren't too many people at my raffle for Tiana today, but there were more than we had for Snow White last year (there were more dolls than people for Snow, but not everyone got Tiana today).
