Anyone heard anything about when theya re running the florida project rsp and when we are likely to see the results, I know it seems a long way away but I am actually leaving for florida in two and a half weeks and need to see it before I go and dont want to make more than one phone call!!!

Well ask and she shall receive I got the email today!! However I am now wodnering how many people have actually signed up I got everything not only eveery but on all thrtee rsps including all of the 250 boxed sets its uheard of. Needless to say I have returned all of the thirs rsp and some of the second I only put it on to make sure I got what I wanted however we all know the pins were less than stellar but it seems no one is buying anything that is if they are going at all

Many of you are so lucky. I haven't gotten mine yet and I registered the first second it came up. Hope I get what I wanted. Don't send stuff back until you see what our pin friends need. Hope I get mine tomorrow.
 
Eemember I am in the Uk so I get mine by email the rst of you (for a change) get them by snail mail unless the system has changed from preious years its one of the very few times in recent years that this is the case! And dont worry I only returned one rtsp I still have things for trade

My poor mailman. I'm stalking him yet again for not only pins, but my RSP's. At least I stopped chasing him down to check mail before he got to my end of the street. Sure hope my RSP comes soon:)

So the people selling Florida Project merchandise on Ebay might have actually gotten their RSPs back and have a genuine claim to the item? Because I'm looking at a listing from a seller in Florida and thinking I would not personally want to take a chance on sending them my money for something they can't buy for another 5 weeks. Maybe they are a Disney employee?
 
My parents got their results today. They are in Winter Garden, so very local. The got everything they asked for, including all of the boxed sets, except only 5 mystery sets not 6. However, the interesting thing is that there was a letter included, which said, "Are you close to a PWP threshold? Notify us by such-and-such a date, and you can add to your RSP to qualify for the pin. So that's new.
 
Very new I didnt get one but then I will get the pwp I also cant believe that mystery sets are sold out! Except on the other hand I for one got thema gainst them doing something stupid like they did last year with the welcome gift. I also think this smacks of desperation on the aprt of event services but thena gain maybe they should be desperate. I for one will be talking to whoever wants to listen if anyone about the poor merchandise at the event AS far as ebay is concerned frankly given we are all getting everything even if they dont have them they will get what they asked for I just wonder how many people are actually going!

the pins on ebay are a pre-sell items when they get it then they ship. They always ask higher prices, I did not get my RSP's yet either hope today:?

Have faith we will all get ours this week sometime:)
 
I have no faith in Disney anymore. If I get my RSP's I'll be totally shocked. And to add to my bad luck, my mailman is on vacation this week so I have some new bungling person delivering the mail so they will probably wind up in the wrong box. I'm just so down in the dumps.
 
Margaret you could always ring event services in the old days when they only went out snail mail anywhere in the world thats what I had to do one year it came after I got back from wdw let alone the event. They can tell you whats on it after the download into their systems I know thats happened as they have now confirmed that theyhave taken the stuff off |I wanted then to mand they couldnt do it until that happened. They can read you the numbersoff their screen.

Received RSP today and very happy to have gotten all I asked for. Thank goodness because I only had 6 pins, mickey figurine and lunch box on it. Very excited and can't wait to go!!!!! Hope everyone else is getting what they want!!
 
My RSP arrived today and surprise - I got almost EVERYTHING on all three RSP's and I mean almost EVERYTHING. So I have three of every item in the brochure except the Chip and Dale Postcard and Mickey Mouse Postcard. So if anyone has an extra let me know. Makes one wonder just how well attended this event is going to be. This is the first time I can remember that I actually got all the items on all the forms. OH NO, wonder if it's really a mistake and I didn't get any items. Sorry, that was lack of trust coming through. Anyway, I'll post a list of my extras and try to sell them off.

This is exactly the same as my earlier post either no one is going or no one is buying it would be nice if event services learned from this and I am certainly going to give feedback however it could easily be the opposite and a good reasonf or them tos top doing it

I am actually not surprised that people are getting what they requested, I was really not impressed this year, definitely a low point compared to previous years. Thank God there are not many Chip n Dale pins. As long as I get the Chip n Dale postcard pin I will be happy. The mystery pins are getting so expensive that I decided not not collect the whole set, just Chip and Dale. I saw them in person at the SciFi Academy and decided I do not like the process they are using on those pins, they look more like buttons to me....
 
got mine today as well but the chip/dale pins I did not get or the Mickey Mouse with train or the super frame set, hubby had a fit when he saw the cost of all the pins hehe I knew it would be a lot, so now have to get it down to an acceptable level hehe are there any out there that are interested in any of the pins that did not get what they wanted?
 
I'm still hoping someone will take pity on me and help me with the Chip 'n Dale pin (RSP #19). I was able to get a #20 MM so I'm good there.
 
I’m new to the terminology (and some of the processes)….. can someone please tell me what RSP's are and what PWP means...thanks for educating the newbie

RSP = Random selection process.

When you attend a ticketed event, there is a list of merchandise available. But there may not be enough merchandise for everyone who wants to buy it. So Disney has you fill out a form, where you list the items you want in the priority order you want. Then each of the forms is "randomly selected" and if what you want is still available then you will be able to receive it. When people refer to this form list, everyone just calls it their RSP.

PWP = Purchase with Purchase.

Which means that with the purchase of a certain dollar amount you can purchase a pin for a cheap price. In this case, there are 4 levels, the highest being $400. If you reach each of the levels, you have the opportunity to purchase a special pin for $3.
