This is my first D23 Expo, I have the Gold Membership. I have heard stories about people waiting over night to get into the stores. Of the stores, which would should I try to get into first? Any specific limited items and pins I should look out for?

Disney Store will require an overnight line.

WDI won't but it will take 2-3 hours to get into the store, if you're there first thing in the morning, and then 1/2 an hour to an hour to check out (they have a limited number of registers).

At this point, we don't know what LE pins either store will release but if you don't want to wait overnight, then I suggest the WDI store. The Disney Store line might go down later in the day.

This is also my first time going to D23, or any convention for that matter. So I'm excited and nervous about all lines and where to go or what to see. I keep reading and hearing that people will be lining up, especially over night for the stores, but here is some info released for the expo:

"Advance Lineups

Advance lineups for access to the Show Floor and Hall D23 (all Guests) will take place the evening prior to Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15. No overnight lineups will take place the evening prior to Sunday, July 16.

For Friday, July 14, lineups will begin on Thursday, July 13 at 10 p.m. For Saturday, July 15, lineups will begin on Friday, July 14 at 10 p.m. Upon arrival at the Anaheim Convention Center, please refer to signs and event staff members to direct you to the correct entrance for overnight or early morning queues.

For Sunday, July 16, the Show Floor and Hall D23 lineups will begin no earlier than 6 a.m. at the Grand Plaza area of the Anaheim Convention Center. To attend the presentations in Hall D23, enter through the main lobby and follow signs and event staff directions to the queue in Hall E.

Please do not bring anything that cannot easily be stored in a backpack or smaller-size bag since there is no place to store/check items until the Show Floor opens. Please do not leave items unattended. A concession stand offering a limited menu will be open in Hall E for your convenience. No re-entry is allowed, and all members of your party must be present (no holding space in line for others to join later)."

The Disney Store and the WDI store (Mickeys of Glendale) will have new pins each day! The Disney Store generally has a Designer Collection pin set that matches up with their Designer Dolls being released. IMHO, since the recent D23 update mentioned a new Mulan, Pinocchio, and Incredibles dolls, I would expect a new "Art of " pin set each day of the Expo. In the past, the Disney Store has given front of the line privileges to the Sorcerer passholders and to the secondary market exhibitors (pin sellers). It makes it real hard to get items that may have a daily selling quota of just 50!

My preference is to go to WDI. They usually release several LE pin sets or collections. Their daily release for the past two D23 Expos has been a new Sorcerer Hat pin. Once, you find the WDI/MoG store be sure to ask for the pin line! One long line is just for pins and a longer line just to get the WDI merchandise.

Two lines to get into the same store? Wow

Yes. For people who don't want pins, they will get in the store with mugs, clothes, and other WDI items. The pin line gets to see/buy pins then exits into the rest of the store. My order will be MOG, Disney Store, and then D23 Dream Store. But as others said, might have to go multiple times on other days to get more goodies. I spend a whole day just at the (secondary) Marketplace. So much to do! Only 3 more weeks!

Have there been previews, official or leaked, that let us know what pins will be at which store? Is there a checklist?
