Nor Cal....you know, so close, yet, so far. Been a Disney fan forever (Disney bounding is my all time favorite), low key pin collector for non Disney things (my sports teams, travel, etc). My husband bought a few Disney pins in various trips over the years and I noticed more and more people with lanyards and hip bags...then we went to Epcot in August, apparently, there’s this huge pin event there every year, maybe you’ve heard of it [snork]...thousands of people with rollers and binders...so after we picked our jaws off the floor at some of the beautiful pins we saw, we chatted up some folks, and slowly started to collect together that trip. He’s in school so I’m leading the charge and research (scrappers, sharks, fakes, got it) until his next school break. Our collection is super small and G rated, mostly mystery packs and OE rack pins (did I describe correctly?). My first trade ever was via PinPics just last week and I got zapped as part of the trade! And pretty much was the most awesome thing ever! Now am just missing Tiana for the my Nesting Doll Mystery pack set...so that’s basically my Pin life right now...next planned trip to DLR is likely end of October...

There is a NoCal group that meets to pin trade on a regular basis. Everyone from noobies to more experienced. Super nice group! Check out the Gatherings thread for their meeting dates :0)
