No offer, but just my opinion. I wouldn't go for that option personally. If someone has the box, obviously Alice would have been clipped out -- so there wouldn't be any way to 'restore' her to a more original condition. Essentially you're just standing the loose doll in the box, which is no better/worse than just having her loose on her own. I totally get that the asking prices are outrageous (we paid more than I would've liked) but, I'd rather go without than have something that is not how I'd want her. If I were you I'd really think about it, I don't know how much you're looking to pay for the loose doll on its own, but you may end up regretting that decision and wish you'd have waited for one that is still in the box.
Thank you for the opinion, but I personally cannot afford to pay for one in the box. I have had some experience putting dolls back in boxes (I do it with Monster High dolls quite often), and while she won't be "MIB" ever, I know that she will be "with box". That is enough for me! I just want her to fit in with the rest of my collection. I found a pretty good deal for a loose one and I just can't pass it up! If all else fails I will just display her loose and hope for a trade someday
