2021 Disney Heroes vs. Villains An Epic Showdown

2021 Disney Heroes vs. Villains An Epic Showdown
Ugh. So Disney shipped the pins by UPS on 11/5 Signature required but I didn't receive an e-mail with the tracking number (either from Disney or UPS) until this afternoon (11/10). UPS tried to deliver yesterday (11/9) while we were out running errands and left a sticker on the door with both "We'll re-attempt to deliver tomorrow" and "we'll deliver tomorrow to a nearby UPS Access Point." options checked. My wife had to stay at home most of the day today afraid that UPS would arrive and we'd miss it again. Turns out the package has been sitting at our local UPS store since 8 am this morning (but we couldn't have known, since I didn't get the e-mail until 2:20 pm) I don't understand why the delivery notification e-mail didn't go out the same day that they shipped. Not sure if its Disney or UPS to blame, but its not good.

I thought I would start sharing some stuff from the event. (Tried posting in the event coverage forum but I wasn’t able to create a thread there.).

They have a set of surveys (favorite villain, favorite princess, etc.). This survey question has me very nervous: “Would you be interested in small assortments of LR/LE collections based on themes but not an event?” I like collections and would be happy with them outside an event, but I wouldn’t want events to stop. If I answer Yes to this, am I signaling they can drop events?

They're holding some drawings (first one now) with pins, books, etc. That's a nice little thing. I guess similar to the game prizes at the event.

Interestingly, I'm in the group chat for the event and it lists 45 users. I wonder if that's only the folks currently in the chat or total number on the event. I think it could be the latter especially right now when there isn't anything else happening.

My impression is that, AT an Event, there are groups of pins (Princess, Villain, Marvel, etc.) Instead of all pins with an Event Theme. That way, they can design great pins without coming up with a theme. After 20 + years, they're probably running out of ideas!
