Hi, everyone! I just wanted to share some photos I took at Disney's Soda Fountain & Studio Store in Hollywood, CA last Friday for the TRON pin release. The pics were taken with my mobile phone, so they're not the best quality. Still, it's a little glimpse of DSF and I hope you like them, especially those who've never been!
I arrived a little before 6AM and was only second in line:
Tink's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, right outside DSF's doors:
Small rack of pins next to the registers. There's a much larger rack off to the side which I failed to take a picture of. :hs:
The friendly CMs of DSF putting up with us crazy people who forgo sleep in order to line up for shiny pieces of metal.
The stock of TRON pins behind the counter:
The "vault" above the registers:
TRON merchandise:
Another section had framed cels for sale:
DISNEYPINS99 making his list and checking it twice. Also ran into indy8888 and hearts48 in line:
Sweet, sweet daylight:
Silly me forgot to take pics inside the El Capitan lobby. At this point I just wanted to go home and sleep.
Overall, there were maybe 50 people who lined up. The rain and weekday may have kept some away. Still, good times.
