A pin you never thought you'd get?

Just for fun, how about we tell each other about a pin we thought we would never get. I've been lucky so far on getting one I must have for the most part. I can think of a few but I'll just share one right now.
I was still living in Las Vegas, Nevada at the time, and it was during Disneyland's 50th. My family was making trips to Disneyland about once every month and a half. Well, I was looking ahead at the pins that were going to be released before our trip that would have been in February 2006. A week before we would have arrived at our hotel in Anaheim, this pin was going to be released:
I was really hoping that they would still have them in that week it would take me to get down there to get one. But then I heard how they sold out, and then how so many of them turned out to be damaged. It then seemed like a grail that would just never be.
So fast forward a couple days into our trip, (visiting so often, I came to know a few Cast Members around the resort). So this one day, it was about 4 in the afternoon and I was in Disney's Pin Traders near the monorail station, talking to a cast member I knew (the store was empty). Well, this lady came in and I moved aside so this cast member could help her. She opened a bag and said she wanted to return a pin. I saw her remove it from the bag and it made me want one all the more. I however thought, she would be returning it because like most of the others, it was damaged. Even the cast member thought so, he didn't even open it check it. He had worked that morning the pin was released and knew a lot ended up being damaged (the dangle inside the pin was broken, about half by his account). So after he returned it and the lady left, I asked to at least see it.
Once I held it, I loved the detail of the pin all the more. I opened it up, and saw that it WAS NOT broken! I couldn't believe my luck that a was able to get a pin that I thought I would never be able to get! It's still one of my favorite pins to this day, and I won't be trading it anytime soon!
So there's my story, anyone got another one to share?
