April 30th PTN Info has DISAPPEARED from Disney Pin Site

:rant: "I'm MAD AS HE-- & I'm NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!!! This is how I feel after thoroughly searching the new Disney Pin Site & finding that ALL mention of the April 30th Trading Night at the Walt Disney World Wide World of Sports has Disappeared!!!! The ONLY thing left is the info of the 2 pins being released, with NO MENTION of time or place, in the April section of Pin Release info!!

This is what I emailed to Disney & we'll see if I get any response:

Dear Event Services - Pin Merchandising,

All information about the Pin Trading Night on April 30th at the Wide World of Sports complex seems to have COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED from your Pin Information site at:

http://www.disneyparksmerchandise.com/pins

All that is left is a cursory announcement (no place or time) of the release of the 2 pins on that date in the Upcoming Pin Release section of this site.

Apparently, the Pin Trading Night in Disneyland on May 10th - which has been prominently displayed as a Headline item on this site for many weeks now, is vastly more important than any Event planned for Walt Disney World - the Birthplace of Pin Trading!!!

Communication is the cornerstone for the continuation of Pin Purchasing and Event Attendance in Walt Disney World & your West Coast Departments need to step it up!

Sincerely - as a Pin Collector starting before 1999,

Maybe more of us on the East Coast should do the same!! Sue

Umm...that was kind of a crummy email.

Did you think that perhaps whatever happened to the info on the website was an error? Website coding can easily get messed up during updates which could remove info by mistake. Why not just send an email asking, "Hey, I saw that there was a PTN advertised on the website on April 30th but now it is gone. Is there still a PTN that night? If so, can you let me know the details?"

No, I meant West Coast Department as at the bottom of the site, California Privacy Rights are referred to so the information originates in California. Why can't the Event info remain with the pins like the DL Pin? Why do we have to "remember" which day a "Blog" was posted when the DL May 10th Night is a recurring Headline on the Home Page? Why? Why? Why can't they keep the Florida Information on the same par as California (for the Park, Soda Fountain Store & WDI)?? I was born in the last century & I can't keep trying to remember "where oh where" did the information go? I must have spent the better part of an hour checking page after page & area after area, with no luck so, that's when I had "had enough". Oh and a BIG THANK YOU to those of you who "found" the information for me!!! I guess I'll have to copy & paste it to my Desktop for future reference (learned that in the 21st Century). TTFN, Sue
