Some PinPics users have been having problems entering pins, photos, SKUs. If you are one of these users,
please send the following information to ambassador@pinpics.com.

Please send an email to ambassador@pinpics.com that details what you have been doing and
the messages you are getting. Include: your browser, your computer, and your system.
I will forward the messages to the programmer.

I have a couple pins I can try and upload, will grab the details requested above & send them on.
 
Finally had a chance to try and add a couple pins.

I started documenting stuff, and it seems the HTTPS everywhere extension and pinpics do not play nice together....

@momin.ator, I'll email the screenshots/browser details & the developer console messages in case the programmer wants to take a look (there were a bunch of mixed content errors for the stylesheets) in case its useful.

(After turning off the extensions/clearing cache/cookies etc I was able to add a pin. Off to add a couple more...)
 
I'm getting a captcha error message whenever I try to upload my new Esmeralda pins. Just sent an e-mail with details. Thanks! :)

Yes, I am getting the same issue. Tried to upload 5 pins this week and I do not think any of them went through.

I did send the email. The error message I am getting has to do with Recaptcha.
 
Yup so I sent my pix directly to the email address. Still waiting for them to show up and be credited with the points.

Just wondering, did your pins ever show up on the site? When I e-mailed them a while back they told me to use the submission form and just type "recaptcha," and that it would eventually go through after a few attempts. Tried it dozens of times with no luck. So I messaged them again weeks ago and never heard back; they never said anything about sending my pics via e-mail, but if that worked for you I'll just give that a shot.

Never showed up on the site. I haven't checked back recently, but I did within a week of me emailing and nothing.

I think it has been about 1.5-2 weeks since anything new has been added to the 'Gallery'. I was also told to just keep entering 'recaptcha' and that worked for about a week and then totally stopped (right before the last new pins showed up in the gallery.) I also tried it dozens (hundreds?) of times before I finally gave up on the work around.

There is the comment about a new database in the thread for the Pinopolis Amb... the lack of updating of the current database could perhaps mean the new database will go live soon? Here's hoping!
 
About 2 years ago at the breakfast PinPics held at PinConII the "new database" was right around the corner. For what its worth I think that focus should be on the database and the sorely needed enhancements at this time. It seems the focus is on the Pinopolis games and selling the Acme/Hot Art stuff. They are really going to lose the followers of PinPics if this isn't fixed in a short time frame.

This is super true. :( Mentioning "PinPics" in most pin company (at least at the WDW event last week) garnered eye rolls, groans, or complaints. Almost all of them referring to nothing getting updated or posted. I really hope they get things moving again soon or communicate why things have ground to a halt. :(

I absolutely detest trading over Facebook, so much so that I turned off my FB for about a month because the pin community there was getting rather toxic. And Instagram isn't much of an improvement. I sincerely miss Pinpics. :(

Yes, agreed... pinpics is an important resource to the community. I feel like all my pinpics activity has ground to a halt in the past 2-3 weeks.

Yes, I agree. Pin Pics site is in GREAT NEED of FIXING/UPDATING! I'm not happy that this appears to be neglected in favor of selling Hot Art Pins & Pinopolis pin game! Pls pls repair the site!!
 
I’ve found a few pins that I’ve added to my Collection but they don’t show up in the Collection list. When I search it the pin shows as being checked under my own list but will not show up in my Collection no matter what I do.

I’m also finding a few pins that show at least 8 Trading but when I click on the who has this pin button it says no one has this pin at this time. ☹️ It’s so weird.

I have not been having any issues of late. There has been talk of Pinpics only working with certain browsers... I always use internet explorer or I guess its now called Microsoft edge. What browser are you using?
