Hi Everyone,

I just noticed that my Ariel LE dolls has some white marks on the plastic cover whilst it is not noticeable it is rather irritating so I was wondering if anyone has an Ariel they are selling (at a fairly reasonable cost) or if there are any deboxers out there that wouldn't be as bothered by the mark on the case that would be willing to swap the plastic cover? I would be willing to pay for the shipping and even a little extra for the inconvenience of having to swap the cases. I know it is just an aesthetic issue and really isnt that noticeable but I figured it would not hurt to ask.

Or if anyone actually has had this happen to them as well what did you do to get rid of the marks?

Thanks in advance everyone!

Can you describe what these white marks look like in more detail? Are they like scratches? Or are they little bits of paper from the edges of the adhesive giant label that engulfs the cardboard layers of the box that stuck to the cellophane? For my LE dolls from The Little Mermaid (LE Ariel, LE Prince Eric, and LE Ursula), the common issue was with those weird greasy smears on the inside of the cellophane window.

Well I guess to best describe it it looks like someone took a white marker and drew lines on the box, I wouldn't say it is a scratch because those are normally just clear but they could be a result of the plastic being bent or warped (I dont know if you are familiar with the effect but if you fold a tough piece of plastic how the plastic warps where it is folded and you are left with the white/milky color where you folded it). So it looks something like that but it is so small and the plastic around it does not look bent in anyway so it is a little bizzare, not sure if it a deep scratch mark hence why it is white instead of being clear like the minor scratches.

But I guess if you wanted to replicate it (to help explain what it looks like) what I would do would be to get a white crayon and draw the lines as that is what it looks like, I would take some pictures but because I am at work at the moment I can't.
