be sure to try and make the PTN on the 30th March and try and get the pins there as they would make great traders. but make sure you get there early or else you would miss out.

Talking about the PTN; will there be preview boards etc like there is at DLR and WDW? I seriously wouldn't know as I have never been to a PTN. If anyone is going could you inform me if any Phantom Manor ones are being released?

I'm not being crazy... its the rides 20th anniversary... it needs at least one pin set! In... my opinion. ^_^;

Love the pins! This is making me super excited as I go in just 9 days! I've not been in 3 years now and barely got a moment to trade at all last time I was there (was with friends who were more interested in doing just rides as much as possible).

I'll definitely be posting what I got here when I return :D.

I know what you mean about prices! Me and my bf are both students so we really can't afford much but we figured we had enough for 2 days in Disney. We looked at going this time next week and it was expensive as the 40% off deal hadn't started. So I looked at June and it was marginally cheaper but still a lot as we wouldn't go long enough to qualify for full discount. In the end after looking at three times this year (early Easter, June before schools breakup and September after they go back) and I managed to just about catch a good deal.

We're leaving on the 29th which is both a Thursday on the "green" cheapest rate and is also the day the 40% off starts! So we have been able to get 4 nights, 5days in the Sequoia for cheaper than two days one night at other times! Came to about £450 each including all park tickets, hotels and travel :)

Bit late for people to take up this offer now but its the thing to watch for in future :).

I got my mine when it was 40% and free eurostar, I got 6 nights and 7 days in Sequoia for £934 when I booked in September :D was still a pretty good deal :D as that included 7 day 2 park hopper tickets too.

I really want to go back :( it was so amazing, ive been back nearly a week now and im so depressed haha.

Me and my bf could never ever afford florida, and DLRP was just as good Disney value I think :) so I think we will become regulars :)

no there isnt a preview board in paris at ptns. they uave tqo trading boards and a cocktail pin other than that its about it. they are not as upfront with releases like in the US so you know from month to month.

Wow, great pins!! Love the cupcakes ones, looks like you had a great time, well done you :)

Thanks :D I bought it with the intention of keeping Stitch and Angel and trading Minnie and Tink :) Cast members homed in on them straight away as they are quite big and very pretty looking.

You do know you can use the French site to book (or Irish) if they have a better offer don't you? Just input your address details as normal as everything comes in a confirmation email so you don't need a French address or anything. We bought APs this year as we are going twice in 2012 and felt the AP room only rate was a better deal than a package with tickets. At least with the AP we get discount on meals and shopping too :)...

I did not know this lol Do you have any links or any info for APs? They are looking very appealing to me at the moment lol

I only just heard about the pin trading event a couple of days ago as I saw that I miss the pin event by one day (gutted its so close!) so I assumed there wouldn't be another soon after.

I'm trying to persuade my bf to go (or let me go without him and meet him later on xD) as I've never been to one before and really don't know anything about them other than that there are some pins exclusive to those events, I think :S? I'm about to post a new thread asking for people to tell me about them in this forum so if any of you can comment there explaining things to me that would be super appreciated!

Ah okay, thanks for the information anyhow. Guess I'll just have to wait and see what gets released during the anniversary.

I'm still trying to figure out what pin the stitch and castle one is in the top right corner. I tried looking for it on pinpics and found nothing :P

I'm slowly negotiating going to Paris with Fi just after my 3rd year finishes, but she always forgets about getting time off :P Am starting to think I might just go by myself if she can't :P

Sorry Becky - hadn't seen your qu on here re APs - to be honest the site is in French at DLRP (I got mine through a French site a bit like Groupon when they had an offer on - it was 149 euros for the Dream (top) AP instead of 199 at the park, plus I got my DD2's free as she was under 7 yrs - as it was buy an adults, get a childs free. The offer is now finished, they are doing them for 179 euros now but as you pay a 20 euro sign up fee it's not worth it really unless you are buying a few). If you'd like the name of the site pm me - don't think I can post it here? I've heard they may have another better offer starting May time but no guarantees.

You can find out more (in English) on the DLRP Magic site - just click on Planning and then APs (I think).

They are brill value for us this year as we are going twice. We saved 100 euros just on mine and DH's APs and we get 20% off shopping and 10% off restaurants while there. With the AP room rate we got we saved £300 off the 15% off online rate Disney were showing (there hasn't been 40% off our hotel on our dates, just 15%, so the passes have paid for themselves before we even get there pretty much!).

You can just buy them in the park though when you get there.... more info on DLRP magic - it does take some figuring out but it is worth it I think. In the UK a lot of people don't know about them/are put off because it is all in French. The French buy them a lot!

Just a small point yes I agree totally with LL THE COMMENTS ABOUT CMS SADLY OPTHR THAN THOSE ON THE PIN TEAM ITSELF WHO ARE A DIFFERENT BREED green lanyards sadly I dont think the cm attitudes would change so maybe we are better without them!
