I've had a stressful fall, and a lot of feelings about it hit me today. I was trying to decide what to do about it when the mail came. When I saw the LBE, I thought it was a pin I bought. Instead, it was this:

The Rapunzel pin is lovely, and the Mickey hands with the heart... well, if I try and describe how it made me feel--this tangible little reminder that someone is thinking of me and wishing me well--I'll start crying again. (Oops. Too late.)

Mystery zapper... thank you. I have a lanyard where I keep the pins that are nearest and dearest to my heart. It just got a little more full.

I'm doing all right overall. (Actually I'm amazed I've been handling everything as well as I have.) But there are bound to be bad days now and then, and this zap came just when I needed a pick-me-up.
