Cardboard backings for pins

Ok all. Got a question as to what you all do. So far any pin I've got that came with the cardboard backing, has kept the backing on it when I put it into my pin book. Problem is, this is filling my book up fast. So do you all keep the backings on your pins, take them off and store the backings or what?

Keep them to the side to save space and your book will look nicer too!

Put them in the zippered pouches in your book.

For sure save them! I've had trades canceled on me because I didn't have cards...

Oh, I would never get rid of the backs but I'm starting to see that nobody keeps them on their pins
