Cleaning Piece of Disney Movies

Hi there! Once again I have a silly question for you guys (I thought I had seen a similar thread before I owned a PODM, but can't find it as the terms "Cleaning" and "Piece of Disney Movies" Bring up many results aha and I'm frankly too lazy to sort through them)

Anyway, I have a Tangled PODM on a cork board, and it's starting to get dusty on the cell itself.
How can I clean/dust it without ruining or scratching the image?

It's probably really straight forward but I don't want to risk it!

I don't think it is a silly question and I don't recall it being discussed yet. I'm having the same issue with mine. So far I have just been using a lightly dampened cotton swab to get the dust off but I'm looking for a better solution as well. I've been meaning to get some of those Swiffer dusters that are supposed to attract the dust and try those.

Feather duster from the dollar store.

Just make sure the soft part of the feather touches the cell only.

It seems like an appropriate place to also ask if people know what lights you can and can't use on the cells to light them up? I want to display mine somehow

I plan on using a shadowbox and/or glow in the dark papery stuff... I'd like to know also if there'd be anything better to use! ^_^

Be careful with the Swiffer's as they do contain chemicals that can, in the long run, potentially mess up your cells. :-(

I work in the cleaning industry and would not recommend anything that has a chemical on it for the cells. Surrounding the cells, sure, but not the cells themselves.

I'm glad to know that its straight forward AND cheap to take care of it (I'm frankly too cheap for Swiffers so I'm glad they aren't as good aha.

Also I'm really glad you brought this up because I've been curious as well! I've heard of people using LED lights but I'd still feel risky using a light personally.
