Hey everyone. :lgm:
I want to buy 2 pins from 2 different people but they will only go through Paypal, I like ebay cause I know if something goes wrong ebay will help, will paypal help if something went wrong?
Like if I got a pin broken and the seller would not refund me my money, or if It got lost in the mail, or if I had to send back the pin and the seller 'never recieved' the pin back so the seller would not refund me.
Would Paypal cover me or am I on my own?
I know everyone uses paypal on here and I am sure I will get tons of help/knowledge, so to all who help Thanks in advance, because one of these pins I want is one of my grails! So thanks! =D

It depends. You can do a purchase via PayPal that is not E-Bay related and still have some of the same protections available that are available when buying from E-Bay. If you send it as a gift/money owed, you have less protection than funds sent as a purchase.

Paypal has it's own resolution center to help with purchases etc, they will also assist with claims - you would need to read their "Protection for Buyers" section. I would suggest that if you are making a purchase form here on the DPF then problems would be almost zero!!

on the same note about lack of paypal knowledge...I am a new Evilbay seller and they hold funds in yer paypal until delivery is made. I did not know this and now, I have 2 items to ship and no funds in paypal to pay shipping.... BLARG. So I transfer funds from my bank, and freakin paypal holds THAT for 3cdays too, even though the account is confirmed. So now I have to write down the addresses, go to the post office and pay more for delivery since it is not done electronically.

Sooo much easier when folks were buying my stuff here on DPF.
