For me, PTN is as much a social event as it is a PTN. I have been unable to get to the park in the last few months since my passes expired and with no PTN for the last 2 months miss all my Pin Trading Friends.
I met Gloomy on the boards and took him for his first PTN and he had a great time and made some great trades. Just on the way from the car to the event, I saw so many good friends. Its so great to see everyone and i think we all needed this.
It's also great to meet some of the people I have made trades with on the forum but had never met. I have traded with Steamboat Willie and got to meet and trade with him and meet his Kids. He was my first pins for Vinyl Figure trade of the night and His Daughter traded one with me too.
I Met Lemec and wdwjuan and wdwjuan and I made a great trade and he totally took care of me and even threw in a really cool LE C&D pin at the end of the trade.
I dont want to leave anyone out but there were so many new peoiple as well as old friends. Nursekate was there and fortunately left her Needles in her car...lol
As mentioned in other threads, Tyleet, Seahawk and Chabooooooooooo where there, Averys Faireytale and the Mad Pinner, Rival Stars and PinKitten, Evilos, Snazzybowtie, Hearts 48 and so many more.
I traded with so many of you and thanks for the great trades. So many of you are so nice to my kids and i know you do many of the trades you do because of them. I cant thank you all enough and if I happened to miss mentioning your name, I was overwhelmed with how many members were there and of course our favorite Mods were on hand to cover the event.
Thanks again to Cicada, Bricklayer and THEjessta for all they do. What a great night and lots of pins and vinyls to haul home for the kids.
