Just heard that Don Iwerks passed last night, he was 96, and would have turned 97 on July 24th.
He worked at WED(WDI) in Burbank, and part of the Disney family legacy,, his father was Ub Iwerks. Ub worked with Walt to develop Steamnoat Willie animation, and the 3rd person to be hired into the Disney Company.
We've lost a hero in the Disney Company history. He will be missed.♥️
