DSF needs to get its act together an decide - wristbands or not...
I think everyone who likes the DSF and the things they do for us, should take some time in the next couple of days and call them just to say thank you... Anyone of them... Ed for running the establishment, Theresa or Patty for running our pin things, and especially Nelson for keeping us all safe throughout the nights we spend in a very rough neighborhood and keeping the bums from peeing on us as we sleep...LOL...

Very well said MOe,

As much as we all complain about DSF and the way they run things at times, THINK ABOUT THIS, what if tomorrow they decide "to hell with these crazy pin traders and collectors!". Then we'd all be sorry. It could happen, I mean, pins are probably 15% of their total profit, and i wouldnt bet against them finding another thing for them to make profit off of. So we should really be thankful for them as much as a hassle it is at times. We wouldnt have had the Tangled BT, or the great Pin trading events they have. As a matter of fact, I think we'll call them tomorrow! :)

I don't care whether there are wristbands or not... I just think we deserve to know with more than 48 hours notice.
I am surprised at the level of butt kissing to DSF. We keep them in business and they know it.
Guess nothing should surprise me anymore. I will leave you all to your more pressing business...

As much as I hate to say it, WE DONT KEEP THEM IN BUSINESS...they keep our hobby in business..with Disney Shopping releasing pins at a Glacial pace...DSF is our Fort Knox of pins. They'd do JUST FINE..without us clogging their alleys every other weekend and hearing our complaints! haha

I remember the first time I've ever been to DSF for a campout there was a security guard that handed you a wristband the moment you walked up to them. I think that was the best "desicion" Am I wrong?

Yup thats how it should be. The moment you get there, they give you you're wristband and your free to go...or stay. whichever you choose haha

Has to be more than 15%. They've told us without us they'd be gone. All those pins they make for $0.50 we buy for $12+, ice creams worth $2 we pay $12 for to get a pin that cost $.35?

Regardless of how much money DSF makes from pin sales, they do have wonderful customer service overall. No store can have 100% customer satisfaction, but DSF is pretty darn awesome :)

Just imagine life without the Pin Trader's Delight. . .

Because a retail person would ever tell their customers that "We'd be fine without you" . Customer service 101! hehe :)

I don't think their amazing food or their other retail prowess is keeping it going. The theater is almost always empty except the first few shows or a super popular movie paired with a cool pre show. They make bank off us and the extra scrapping they get from us not pin related. Maybe they get good money from special events and premieres but they could keep the theater and Kimmel without a Soda Fountain and lease it out to someone else for big money.

I thought this was not a wristband release. Are people already really going to start camping out for this? I haven't seen anything on their facebook page.

I doubt it. The only pin worth camping out for is the marquee, and I doubt that will sell out very quickly. It'll probably be around til the afternoon I'd say. But who knows. . .
