Moderator's reminder: please read both the DPF Auction House General Rules and the Opening Post rules before bidding on an auction. Sometimes the Opening Post adds additional rules; as long as those additional rules are not in violation of DPF's Terms of Use (which includes the Auction House General Rules), they must be abided by as well if you wish to bid in the auction.

In this particular auction, the Opening Post requested, and I quote:

Several people (not calling anyone out) have not followed this and this rule, like so many others on DPF, will be enforced. If DPF Staff allows members to write their own rules for their auctions but isn't willing to help enforce them (provided the rules are legal and reasonable), what's the point of allowing the customized rules? If rules are not enforced, they become meaningless. So what does this mean for this auction?

Very simple: since the opening post specifically requested no bids for other people unless they were sent via private message to the person to whom they were meant to help, the auction host (opening post) does not have to accept any bids that aren't made directly by the person for whom they are intended. No proxy bids should count until said proxy bids are re-bid by those they are meant to help. The only bids that should be counted are those that are made directly by interested parties. Going forward from here, send your proxy bids directly to the person you want to help and have that person make the bid.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact a myself or another member of DPF Staff.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled auction.

I do encourage people to help others get the pins they need for their collections but Please, Please, keep all bids to help others to PM's sent to the person you want to help and have them post, I don't want anyone to get their feelings hurt as that has happened before.

Also thank you everyone for the trade requests for the remaining R/C pins I have but I have decided to auction them instead of trade.
