Former Pin Collector....starting back up again!

I was a bit of a pin collector back when I was a kid, and it kind of fell by the wayside as I got older. I raced the Inaugural Tinker Bell Half Marathon a week ago, and got to go to Disneyland for the first time, and my love for pins is renewed so I'm starting to collect again.

I'm not really sure where to start, but I know that I need to find the pins that are still at my parents house.

So does anyone have advice for someone who is getting back into collecting?

hey welcome back to the site well im new myself and im just starting to get back into my pin collection.

I have been getting the pins that i have missed out on when i stopped from Ebay really good prices too =)

im also going disneyland for the 1st time to this year i cant wait they have loads and loads of pin there and the is also cast members that you can trade your old pins with =)

Welcome. Hmm, advice.

1. Create an account at pinpics so you can sort through the pins you have and want to keep versus the ones you want to trade;
2. Then pick out ones you would like to get and hope they match up with the ones you have available for trade;
3. Buy some trader lots (here on DPF) for trading with cast members at DLR or WDW (depending on where you go more);
4. Hopefully you can trade "up" with cast members and then trade with the private traders.
5. Don't be afraid to ask questions!
