It appears that this game is really falling off. It has been 11 days since Sabrina posted and no one is interested in anything she has listed. Sabrina needs to either list some more or we can stop this one all together and I will just pick a pin since I started this game by giving a pin away. I do not know how you all feel but it seems to me no one really wants to mail for a little rack pin. Maybe doing an all LE would be better. I don't know...just trying to make things work the best we can.

It bothers me that I have to continually send reminders and post to have people add pins after a few days. Everyone has played for a while now and knows what they should be doing. I am not going to send out reminders anymore but instead I am going to wait and then close the thread because no one bothered to do what they knew they should. I should not have to continuously babysit these threads. Either do what you have to do to get one of your pins selected, as it is YOUR responsibility, or I will select a pin and end it! Sorry for the rant but this is getting OLD!
 
I was going to add some more ... But I don't come on here everyday to check as I have a job that I am working 14 hour days at and usually only get on here on the weekends. I kind of feel like you called me out specifically and am disappointed in your rant/reaction. I will not call you out by saying that some if us have a life outside pins. I will not point out that my choosing a pin last time was actually just to help keep your game going.

I came on now with the intention of adding five additional pins but because of the way your rant was worded I will NOT be adding anymore. You could have simply stated as you had done in the past politely that it was time to add some pins. Had that been your attitude I would have.

I host the Murder games so I know the frustrations of hosting and those are a lot more complicated than this. My advice in the future is if you are going to host a game just remember things don't always go your way. When they don't just have patience.

Now my rant is over. I ask you politely to choose a pin from my list and I will send it to you with no hard feelings.
 
Okay, I have not been participating much in this game, but now I have to speak up.

In all fairness, tokyodisneydad, it's been over a week since you added any pins and Rocke01 stated from the beginning that if no one chooses a pin within a day or two, it's that persons responsibility to add more. You have been playing since the beginning, and you should know that rule by now. She shouldn't HAVE to be expected to keep sending you friendly reminders.

"I am not going to call you out by saying that some of us that've a life outside of pins." - Wow! That's an unfair, passive aggressive statement. Guess what? We ALL have a life outside of pins, not just you. If you're too busy to participate in a game, don't participate. It's really simple.

All I was saying was up to this point he had made polite reminders, but instead chose now to call me out with a rant. In all fairness as you put it you don't know me either or what I have been through this week. Those who know me can and will understand.

I will offer an apology for that one statement and say that I fell victim to my own anger. I will however not retract the rest.
This is exactly why I don't participate on the boards any more. You are right I should not have chosen that last pin but as I stated I was just trying to help the game continue and enjoy getting pins from Sabrina. I did know I would not be able to offer pins as fast as maybe needed. All I'm asking is why the reminder was stated so aggressive. It seems you only noticed my one statement but missed all of the above.

I also state sincerely that I appreciate you hosting the game as I did enjoy it thus the reason I wanted to help it continue. I was just really hurt by your statement.

This is is why I will now officially only be on DPF to participate in or host Murder Games. It doesn't matter to anyone anyway as very few had noticed that I had started rarely coming on.

I read all of the above. You're right, I don't know you or what you've been through this week. Did I imply that I did? I was only replying to the things you posted.

BTW, yes, I did read your entire post. I read that although you know you can only sign in to the forum on the weekends, you repeatedly sign up for this game, which is meant to be kept up to date and added to every few days. I read how you think that your doing this is somehow a favor to Rocke01.

She did not single you out. If you scroll up, you'll see she made a similar post a few weeks ago, when Sabrina forgot to update her pins. She gently asked everyone to keep their posts updated, or else quit signing up so she'd end the game herself. You chose to keep it going, and to ignore her plea. And now you're mad she called you out on it.

I understand Rocke01's frustration with trying to keep a game going and herding the cats. I also understand why Wally might've taken Rocke's post personally, since he was next in line, especially if there are already other things stressing him out. And I understand Sora just wanting to come to a friend's defense. I think everyone is a bit stressed out lately.

This is kinda how these things escalate, though, responding to each thing and then responding again in turn. I don't think anyone really meant to be attacking, right?

Rocke01, I suggest maybe you go ahead and close this game thread now... maybe start another one some time later, but just leave the other one going in the meantime since it's got more activity?

Wally, I hope we'll still see you around DPF?

WOW did I cause all this? I AM SO SORRY! I did not mean to single out Wally, that was never my intention. Wally you have my sincerest apology! Sora, While I truly appreciate you sticking up for me, I was just frustrated. This is all my fault and I am truly sorry for this. It was not my intent to hurt anyone's feelings or have anyone get upset when they chose to stick up for themselves. I was frustrated. I was stressed. I had some things going on behind the scenes with other things that had my wanting to pull my hair out and I guess this thread got the brunt of it. I hate drama on here and am sad that I caused this. True, I do not feel I should have to keep sending reminders for this game. It is just a game... not my game.... just a game. I feel with the rules saying you might have to add pins after a few days that we should all be able to "check" ourselves and not have to have someone send reminders all the time. I took that task on myself in order to keep the game flowing. The game will fail if we do not all do our part. Wally, I was not trying to call you out on this, it was more of a general rant and you happened to be the person that posted last. I am sorry you felt attacked. Then Sora, sticking up for me because she felt you attacked me, made it even worse. Sora, I know you had good intentions but this is my fault and I will shoulder the blame. I am sorry to everyone that read this and everyone that got involved in it. I am hoping Wally will reconsider and post his extra pins but if he doesn't I will choose one and end the game shouldering the guilt that it was my fault and no one else's. I hope you ALL will forgive me.
 
Wally has written me and all though he accepts my apology he does not want to post anymore pins at this time. I am giving this the 14 days I would have given any poster and then I will choose a pin and close it.

If no one has chosen one by the 14th I will choose one and end the game. I do think it is for the best as this one really never took off. I am thinking one that has all LE pins might do better. I was just trying to have one of these games that anyone could play instead of just those that have low edition LE pins. Maybe if i do one that is just LE pins any edition it will work better.
