I know I promised to be back with another game before now, I have been crazy with Christmas stuff. But all the gifts are bought and wrapped, the greeting cards are in the mail, and the parties are planned, so I have had time to sit down and think about what pin(s) would come next. So, I really loved Simbanino's game for being positive about DPF, so I'm going to be a big, fat copycat.

Ok so the most enchanting thing I've seen is probably the generosity of a kind heart. Weather it's people helping others on our great forum here, rescuing an animal from a shelter, helping trying to stop hunger, save the planet and our endangered animals, just caring for something other then ourselves when it's so much easier to be selfish.

My most enchanting place/moment would have to be when I went snorkeling in Hawaii. I had been there with my sister and mom on vacation, and decided that I wanted to go out snorkeling. My mother and sister wouldn't go, so I went on my own. I spent over 2 hours in the water that day, and it was so serene. I had underwater cameras with me and took photos and fell in love 'under the sea'. The most enchanting part of this was the fact that for about a half hour, while under the water, I heard whales singing. It was the most beautiful sound I had ever heard, *I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slightly terrified that a whale was gonna sneak up on me though* It may seem silly, but the peacefulness of just being out there on your own and enjoying the beauty the ocean has to offer will always be one of the rare moments in my life that I won't ever forget.

I am understanding that this is in our life and not just DPF!?!?

Mine is my mother! She is an incredible and strong woman! She worked AND went to school to give my brother and myself the best lives possible! Shewas there as both mom and dad for 21 years of our lives...my father is a "dead beat" dad, who wouldn't even help my brother and I by being there, let alone financially! He threatened to kill us all and would stalk us, yet my mom stayed strong and provided us with an outstanding and loving home, making sure we grew up happy! I give my mom (and her parents) ALL the credit for the person I am today, and the amazing young man and extraordinary parent I have watch my brother become over the years! I could never ask for a better parent than what I have in her; she has accomplished what many parents cannot which is being not only an exceptional parent and example for us, but a best friend to both my brother and myself! She has shown us, and instilled into us, strong work ethics, values, morals, respect and manners...in a day when many children in two parent homes are no longer taught these qualities! She also is SUCH an outstanding grandma to my gorgeous niece! I could go on and on, but you all get the idea! :lol:

The most of the enchanting place I went was when my family and I were able to go to Washington DC for a vacation. It was "enchanting" to be able to see all the places that I had always dreamed about seeing. Just standing outside the Lincoln moment was amazing. No one said a word when we got up those stairs for about 5-10 minutes. That was enchanting. When dreams that you've longed for becomes reality.
 
My most enchanted moment took place during my honeymoon to WDW. After a long day of traveling and hanging out in the Magic Kingdom, my new husband and I went back to our hotel (we were lucky enough to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge). We ate tandoori chicken pizza and soaked our tired feet in the wading pool. Beside us was the swimming pool, lit up and glowing and all but empty. Despite the late hour, we decided to go for a swim. The water was warm and the sky was clear, so we floated on a perfect reflection of a thousand stars and a big, bright moon. I'd had no doubts when I said my wedding vows two days earlier, but that hour or two was something straight out of a fairy tale.

The most enchanting place I've ever been is Disneyland resort ! It's quite far away for me as I live in the UK, but I've been lucky enough to go 3 times! I've been to wdw and DLP and I love both, but there's something about DLR that just makes it so special! The most enchanting thing I've experienced at disney is world of colour though, it's so magical and I love it so much

Everytime I go it's like I'm home and everyone's so happy and nice and I love everything about it hehe x

Ok, time to be a little bit of a sap! :lol: The most enchanting person I have ever met has to be my little man! From the moment the doctor placed him in my arms to every single day of my life with this little boy, he has given my wife and I nothing but happiness. He is the sweetest 2 year old you will ever meet. He greets everyone with a smile and a big "Hi!" He says goodbye to anyone he meets or even strangers in the street with a kiss and a "Bye, see you soon!" He has the kind of smile that will melt the hearts of even the biggest Grinch. He says please and thank you for absolutely everything and every time he sees my wife or I in a less than happy mood, he will come to us, give us a hug, a kiss and say "Im sorry mama/papa," even when the problem has nothing to do with him. When he does something wrong, like spill something on the sofa or break his own little toy cars (and by that I mean from the movie cars of course) since he is so rough with his toys, he will say "mama/papa fix it please," he will make a sad face and put himself in his time out chair until we immediately call him to us and explain to him that its ok. He is the "manliest" little boy I have ever seen, he loves pretty girls and loves to play rough. Our special time together usually consists of him climbing on me till he is tired or "fighting," where he likes to just throw me on the floor, needless to say, he wins every time! He has the weirdest dance moves, and just loves to bust a move on the most random moments. When he dances, you can't help but smile and when he asks you to dance with him, you can't help but make a fool of yourself just to put that same smile on his face. And when its time to sleep, he pulls either my wife and I by the hands, tucks himself in and pulls us down to him to give us a big hug, a slobbery kiss and a "goodnight mama/papa, Love you!"

This little boy can disarm just about anyone and for all the amazing things he does at such a young age, I say, he is the most enchanted person I know!

Our most enchanted place in the world is Walt Disney World in Florida. When we took our little daughter there for the first time, it was priceless to see her eyes open wide and the smile that was permanently on her face. She was in absolute heaven. She is now 4 and has been to WDW at least 8 times, which is probably more than I ever got to go when I was a kid. Being from Canada, this is our home away from home. Along the way, we started to collect pins for her, for when she gets older. She has quite the collection already but this is something we do as a family which is simply amazing. This is what brought us to DPF and we have met so many great people here and along the way. It's nice to see people from all over the world come together in this amazing hobby.

I'd have to say a moment after my grandmother died. Sounds rather sadistic, but it's not, I promise. One thing I will always remember is that she loved to complete these huge puzzles with 5000 and more pieces. She was diagnosed with alzheimer and leukemia when I was 12. She had the funds to live closer to us and pay for a luxury home, so she did. My dad brought all of her puzzles to the home so she had stuff to do. The last time I went to visit her, she was working on a huge Mucha puzzle (the painter). He was always my favourite, even when I was little, so I sat by her and I helped complete the puzzle. A day after, she passed away in her sleep. I went inside her room and I saw one puzzle piece that still had to be fitted in the puzzle. And I just knew she left it there for me. And in my mind, fitting in that last puzzle piece was enchanting. My grandmother had just died but she had never been closer to me. I also framed the finished puzzle, so I can never lose that memory.

My most enchanting moment was probably when I became a Mom. I don't know how to describe the feelings I had when my oldest child was born. It was so surreal and amazing. One thing I didn't expect was the moment when my hubby held our little one for the first time - how much more in love with him I was. I have always been deeply in love with the hubs and didn't know I could love him more. I think I just saw him in another, wonderful light. I have had many enchanting moments in my life (like meeting our other little ones, our wedding, our first Disneyland trip etc.) but I don't know what can top that for me.
 
One of the many enchanting moments in my life is when I spend time with my sister. Ever since I was little, I had always wanted a little sister. I was blessed to have a sister when I was 7 years old. Having a sister is such a blessing, because no matter if I feel alone, my sister's randomness would put a smile to my face. I do try to reciprocate by doing outings and doing stuff where she isn't stuck in the house all the time. She may be younger than I am, but she is wiser than I am. I am always greatful that I have a sister in my life.
 
I love this idea! My most "enchanting place would be the first time I went to DLR. It was '05 so the 50th anniversary was on. I was 7 and for me that really was the most magical place in the world. This was the case as I thought I had seen everything ( I was 7, I knew nothing)and then I come to this place that has Pirates, Ghosts, Space travel, the Twilight Zone, Hang Gliding, Indiana Jones and of course Tom Sawyer. I thought all of these were just absolutely amazing while trying to soak in all this excitement as I was going to Disneyland! Then I met this one family at a restraunt, Village Haus I believe and they all had lanyards with pins with characters on them. I stopped and asked "excuse me, but how dio you get these pins with the disney characters on them?" as innocent as possible of course. And then they explained this idea of pin trading... The trip went from awesome to so awesome I almost had to change my pants. After hearing this I went straight to LGM where I bought a few pins including 50th anniversary pins. The rest was History! From then on I have traded and I think that is my most "enchanted place".
 
The most enchanting place I've ever been would definitely be Warwick castle in the UK. I was there on one of their festival days (by coincidence) and I felt as if I had been thrown into the past. The ornate tapestries, gorgeous furniture, and the waxen figures made me feel even more drawn into England's history. I loved touching the cold stone wall that was part of the original castle. It was lovely... Heck, all of England was. I hope I get to go back sometime!

I would have to say that the most enchanting place right now for me is San Francisco (besides Disneyland and World of Color haha) because of all the nice people, multicultural food, and beautiful scenery of San Francisco! Y'all should go visit some day and check out the amazing Walt Disney Family Museum in the Presidio too!
 

I love San Francisco. I have visited many times and it's been wonderful each time. Still haven't gotten out to Alcatraz, though. I would love to live in Northern California.
 
I would have to say the most enchanting place I have been is along the Oregon Coast. I love the ocean, and driving up the coast was a real treat for me. The sunsets are out of this world, and the scenery is absolutely stunning and a gift from God himself. Stopping in all of the little coastal towns along the way was fun, dining and shopping and looking to see what each town had to offer. I hope to get back that way and share it with my husband who has never been.

I just want to say that there are some awesome and enchanting people here on DPF. So many ZAPS and giveaways and real heartfelt comrodery. It makes this hobby that much more fun! Thanks to you all.

I would have to say one of the most enchanting places I have been to was Niagara Falls. My family and I stayed there in 2009 to start off our east coast trip (the first time traveling to the east coast for many of us!) Not only was the sight just breathtaking - I mean pictures really did little to prepare me for being there - but being surrounded by my family and trying not to take any moment for granted... Yes, enchanting pretty much encompasses that place and the memories it holds for me

One of the most enchanting and inspiration person I would like to talk about is my brother in law, James. When I was younger, my parents were never there to take care of me. My sister and her husband; James, was always there for me to be parent figures. He taught me how to do everything whether it was how to swim, how to be a gentleman, or how to do every day common sense stuff. Anyway, when I was going into the seventh grade (I'm in my second year of college), he stumbled across a life changing event. He encountered 3 hematomas (blood clots) that formed into one big one, and crushed his spinal chord. He is now a C4 quadriplegic and has no bodily function from his neck down. Anyway, getting away from the sad stuff; He is the most enchanting and inspirational person I know because despite everything that has happened to him, he is still a father figure to me. He never let his disability get in the way of what he loves and what he does. He is not the person to let his problems get in the way of life, and is still an independent person today. He learned how to brush his own teeth, to feeding himself, to being able to get stronger everyday so he can be able to push himself in a manual wheelchair. He is also the owner of 2 Teddy Bigger Burger (Hamburger store similar to In and Out), the Director Of Operations of Papa Johns Hawaii and still raises his 7 year old son with my sister. In other words, he is my inspiration because he teaches me that no matter what happens in life, I should always cherish it and look at everything with a "half full" perspective. He never lets me give up and that is why he is my most enchanting person in my life
 
I think the most enchanting moment of my life so far was sitting on a hill with a friend and drawing. I've been teaching myself how to draw, and not get caught up in the little errors that a beginner makes, but that afternoon it was so easy to sketch my surroundings! And the sun came out from behind some clouds in the middle, it was absolutely gorgeous outside It reminded me to enjoy the little things, pursue what I love, and take breaks.

OK, I am going to try to do this but I am really sick so I may not get it all out. Since I have experienced many "enchanted" moments in my life I chose one that touched my heart. Many years ago I worked security on the strip here in Vegas. There was a piano player in the lounge where I worked I use to love to listen to. I would stop and listen to him almost every night he played as he mesmerized me with his gift. He left and started playing at a lounge off strip and I took my mother to see him for her birthday. I told him about it being my Mothers birthday asking him to do a song for her. Well He did more than that! he not only did a song for her he came over to her table and asked her to dance. The thing that was enchanting about that is it is the ONLY time I have ever seen my mother dance! She beamed as she danced with him. I could tell she was really happy to have that moment. My father is an invalid so my Mother doesn't get simple pleasures like that. I sat there with tears running down my face as I watched her happily glide across the floor. It is a treasure I will always hold close to my heart. For that moment my mother was a princess in her own little fairy tale.

Wow, there are so many beautiful things being written and shared in this thread... I adore reading all of your stories!

I've experienced a lot of things in the past few years I would definitely call enchanting- seeing World of Colour at Disneyland was one thing I'll never forget- the music, the visuals, and the general atmosphere was wonderful! But the most enchanting memory for me so far isn't really Disney related (however weird that might be :lol- 3 summers ago I revisited Oahu for the first time since I was little. Everything was so familiar but so refreshing and otherwordly! We walked around the main area, of the island, and although I'm sure nobody wants to see an ABC store every 10 yards, the culture really spoke to me and started to sink in as we spoke to locals and visited less tourist based places on the island. We walked on the beach at 11pm, got ice cream and watched the night sky together It was also one of the last memories I have where I spent the summer with my uncle- he was so inspirational to me and even though he's not here anymore, I can think back to that summer and remember the amazing times I had with him <3
