Me too! I really want the animator dolls and the LE dolls (which I hope they do release)! But may be they will do a pre-order for the movie when it come to dvd instead. That way people have seen the movie and will be more likely to buy the dolls.
 
That was my thought too. It makes sense that they will wait for people to become more familiarized with the movie before setting up a pre-order for the dolls. We most likely will not see a pre-order until the theatre release or the dvd/Blu ray release. I think I will go nuts until then, but for now I am content with the current dolls :)

Think that they'll release a 2 LE doll set.

I agree. With Oz and Brave they released LE dolls before anyone was "familiar" with the movie. It seemed to work well with those doll/movie releases. Disney will definitely release them if they thin they can sell them (which they can).
 
I believe they will release the dolls, I think that is pretty much a given, and taking advantage of Christmas makes a lot of sense, but even if the dolls are not released for dvd/Blu ray release, the movie does not come out for another 2 months. So their still might be some waiting to do. I truly wish they do the pre-orders before the movie release. The wait will be excruciating whether its 2 weeks, 1 month or 5 months. I wish we had date that will turn the speculation into fact. The agony :anxious:
 
You guys are so lucky !! Here in France, Frozen merchandise has not arrived yet, and we're not sure to receive all of it :/
I'm sooo excited for this movie, and I love all the products ! I want them all ^^

Have they done preorders in the past for dolls other than the ones released in Oct? Ie the diamond edition dolls?

I wouldn't be surprised if they just released the dolls as a surprise release on the day of the movie release at the end of November. Sort of like what they did with Sgt Calhoun and China doll. Mind you these characters we supporting cast compared to Anna and Elsa who are the main cast so they could do one as a preorder and the other as a surprise? Or just release both on the day of the movie release to help boost the hype around the movie.

I think the Merida/Elinor doll was a pre-order, but I am not 100% sure as I did not get that set. I believe that set was available for pre-order after the movie was released in theaters. I just hope the pre-order or release is sooner than later. Any information is appreciated and if I find anything out, I will definitely post :)

to be honest I can't remember if the set was on preorder as well, I thought it was just released the same day as the bluray. But I do remember i was in no rush to buy it and i definitely did not preorder it. I am with you on the sooner rather than later, especially with Frozen not coming out in theaters until later November (last year Wreck it ralph came out early Nov).

I think there is a lot of potential for these LE dolls especially with Elsa and the use of frost and snow on her dress. I really do hope we get something sooner rather than later but will be glad as well if it due to a late Nov release along with the movie as that would help me recouperate my funds from the Designer and TLM LE fiasco.

Either way I think I am looking forward to hearing more about it and seeing pictures as that will provide us with more concrete information but at the same time will just mean another excruciating wait! Lol

I love how Elsa looks, she is so beautiful and her dress is stunning! I also LOVE her hair! An LE Elsa doll will be phenomenal! I totally understand about the funds. On October 1st many bank accounts will take a hit. I really, really want the LE Eric and with such a small edition size, I am biting my nails. Ariel is my favorite princess, I need LE Eric side by side with LE Ariel. I really hope I can get him. It is also being rumored LE Aurora and LE Philip are coming out next year and this is also a must for me. I really, really hope her dress is blue!

The Merida/Elinor set was definitely a pre-order. I can't remember the exact date that it went on sale, but I will check tonight or tomorrow as I have the little folder they give you when you pre-order in-store :)
 
The LE China doll was there before the film came to theaters, way before. I saw her when I bought my movie series Oz dolls. She was just sitting on the self too. I would have gotten her but her mouth is so off to me. I still think it is. As for Frozen, I don't think they will put them up for sale without at least some small announcement, they are princesses after all.
 
I think it'll be a Friday release when the movie comes. That same exact day.

They should have no problem selling them. Especially if they're going to be LE5000.

If they do decide to make these dolls, I really hope that they use their coronation outfits. They would look great. Especially Anna.
 
For those who went in-store today, did any stores get the ornaments? The single, or the set? I am not sure if the single ornament will be in stores but if it is I would much rather do that then order online.

Our store did not have any of the ornaments, but they had almost everything else that is online except the mugs :(

The single ornament is from D23, it will only be sold online. You may find it in the NYC Disney Store but I'm guessing it wont be anywhere else.

Yes you are right she came out for sale in early Feb around the time we were expecting a LE Peter Pan doll due to the Feb release of the Prter Pan diamond edition. The movie did not come out until early may late April. Thing is Calhoun did come out around the same time as the movie because I remember someone asking if she was a good or a bad guy on here. So at the very least something should come out during November. I doubt anything before that due to the TLM and Designer hype. Either way I am happy with anything. Can't wait!

I'd want Anna in her normal outfit because I am in love with it. But I'd prefer Elsa in her coronation gown. I feel like her ice dress is just too modern.
 
I'm assuming any LE dolls will come out at the end of October or sometime in November. Right now they have so many LE dolls coming it with the Designer Couples coming out until mid October and LE Ariel, LE Ursula and LE Eric coming out at the beginning of October. I'm sure they want to wait until all of that is done before releasing any LE Frozen dolls. People are already trying to figure out how to get enough money to get all the LE dolls they want and some or having to choose which dolls they want because they can't afford all the ones they want. Adding LE Frozen dolls right now would not help.

I hope they wait until November to release them because then I'm done with Halloween stuff and I'm done with buying my sister something for her birthday and I'll be able to spend $100 on a doll. I really, really want a LE Elsa doll and I don't want to miss out on her because I can't spend money on myself right now.
