So, today has been a pretty craptastic day. I missede the registration for Friday's WDW pin event, and so did the person I was going to be staying with. She's decided, as of now, not to go at all, which means I would have nowhere to stay. Even if I did, it doesn't make much sense to save up for a plane ticket from California to Florida just for one day and no access to the one item I actually want so far. This would have been my very first Florida pin event, and considering tickets for the upcoming DLR event sold out before I had money to purchase one, I was really looking forward to it!! So yeah, today I've been really bummed. Until I received a large, rather heavy package in today's mail. Inside it was this....

I have been after this pin(which is the length of my forearm and weighs 13 ounces, btw!) since the framed set it's a part of came out!!! It was in my grail signature for ages until recently when the new size rule came into effect!!! And now it's MIIIIIIIIINE!!!! My own, my preeeeciiiiiouuuusssss......
You'll have to excuse me, I've been collecting Mulan pins for nearly 7 years. It's not very often an older one comes into my possession! And by way of a GRAIL ZAP!!! OMG!!!! I'm simply beside myself!!!! Bruce, this could not have come on a better day, when I have a cold and am feeling really down about pins in general. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, from the bottom of my wee heart!!!! It's absolutely stunning and combines two of my favourite things, Mulan and Disneyland!! AHHHHH!!!! THAAAANK YOUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!
