Hello everyone! I have been observing/ghosting throughout the forum for quite awhile, and I decided it was finally time for me to break in and join the fun!

My name is Rachel and I have a huge love (borderline obsession) with the Disney princesses. Jasmine and Belle are my easy favorites. I wasn't any kind of collector 'per-say' until the animator toddler dolls came out. I bought the Jasmine and Belle dolls, and when I learned that the line was getting discontinued I went back for Ariel, who is by far the cutest. Then my boyfriend bought me Rapunzel, and from there it just snowballed..... I now own all 10 dolls plus Merida, and I plan on getting Anna and Elsa whenever they finally come out!

But after that, things calmed down - until the Fairytale Designer Couples came out. I tried really hard to avoid the temptation - fresh out of college still trying to find a permanent teaching job - but I really couldn't resist them. Again, my boyfriend amazed me and bought Aladdin and Jasmine for me online, and I was able to attend the raffle for Belle and Beast and got called :hs:. I am truly debating getting Ariel/Eric, but I think I'm gonna skip them and try to get the Anna LE doll. Gosh, once you start collecting, you just can't stop, can you?

Unfortunately I do not have a Disney Store (we had one when I was little but it closed). The closest one is an hour and a half away. When I visit my boyfriend in Florida I get to go to his, which is how I got my Belle/Beast and some Frozen goodies. It's annoying, but I love Disney too much to let it get in my way.

I don't own a single pin, and as of right now I don't really see myself collecting them. Perhaps that would be different if I had easier access to the store or parks, but I am pretty misplaced for both. I also have a sinking suspicion that if I start, there will be no stopping! :p

Well I think I've rambled on just about enough. I'm excited to join in the collecting community, and can't wait to get to know many of you and sharing my love of Disney.

Thanks you guys! Yeah, I was devastated when our Disney Store closed. We could never figure it out why, it always seemed so busy. Oh well!
