Hello everyone
New poster here . I've been collecting / trading for a couple of years now . My main sources have been eBay and a couple of visits to DLRP .
Next year I'll be going to WDW for the first time (never flown before :anxious: ) I'll be checking the boards for advice on locations and such . If anyone from the UK has any advice regarding customs limits I'd appreciate any help I can find .
Cheers
David

Welcome to DPF!
It's always nice to meet another UK trader
I've never been to the States either but according to the GOV.UK website "You can bring in goods worth up to £390 duty-free.", anything above this they rely on your honesty when you go through the arrivals gates as you have to declare it. I hope that helps!

Hey there,

Welcome to DPF. You will have a blast in WDW. We went a couple of years ago and we took an extra suitcase to bring stuff back just booked the extra suitcase on the plane before we flew. We hope to go back in the next couple of years

Karl and Hollie

Thank you all for the welcome .
I'm going with Virgin , Premium Economy so I get 2 cases . Plenty of room for goodies . I'm aiming for a max spend of $600 on everything except pins which should be under the limit . I'll be traveling light on clothes as I always end up buying way too many t-shirts anyways . I'm hoping the pins won't be counted towards my limit as they'll be mostly trades or else I'm going to need to ship them to myself which I understand you can do from Downtown Disney .

Hello and welcome! Pin trading with cast members at WDW is one of our favorite things about going! You will surely have a great time. We are hoping to get to DLRP in the next few years.

Yay another uk pin trader welcome to dpf where are you from in the uk as they do speedway near me on the Isle of Wight I always going over the limit on the stuff I'm allowed to bring back I've never been stopped as I take of all the tags on clothing and bring pins with me to America so the customs doesn't know which Are the ones I buy there hope this helps please pm me if needing any more info Damien

Thank you all for the kind words . 9 months seems a very long time but it will hopefully fly by . I plan on bringing as many of my traders as I can at the moment I have between 50-100 from boosters etc and I'm sure I can scrape another 100 or so by March . I'm told Virgin are pretty good at baggage restrictions flexibility so I hopefully won't have any problems .

Hey Damian
I'm near Exeter . Sadly the speedway ended near me a few years ago now . I've not been to IOW speedway before it might make a good trip I can do cheaply between now and March so I'll take a look .
