Hi, i'm Jonathan, the new kid on the block. For a few years now I have been collecting pins of locations where I have traveled, and have recently been introduced to the amazingly wide world of Disney pins. I just returned from the NorCal Pin Traders event in Sacramento, and seeing the sheer volume of unique pins blew my mind! Looking forward to learning more about it all!

Welcome Johnathan!
I'm new here as well. I was the other way around with pin collecting, I started with Disney and now I collect pins when I travel too!

Welcome to DPF! There's lots of helpful information here, and friendly, helpful folks as well. Disney pins can quickly become an addictive hobby, but lots of fun!

Thanks for the welcome, everyone I'm definitely going to have to pace myself, there are so many interesting pin designs out there!

Hi fellow newbie! I got into it at the tail end of my honeymoon, wine choosing my first pack. This is a great group to be a part of, just seeing all these different pins!

Welcome! Yeah, the amount of pins that there are is astounding!! If you haven't already, I'd suggest checking out some of the pin databases like pinpics.com . It really puts things into perspective about how many incredible pins there really are!

Thanks again for the welcome, everyone I have been spending a little time looking through some of the online databases, as well as eBay, to see what's out there. I'm definitely starting to think I'm going to try for Tokyo Disneyland event pins, such as Tanabata, Shichi-go-san, etc. It's really neat how that park incorporates the characters and other imagery into their own festivals and events. I have gone to Tokyo Disneyland once before, but did not find many pins for sale -- none inside the park, and only a few rack pins at the last-chance souvenir shop just outside the park entrance -- so I wasn't aware that there we so many!

Hey there Jonathan!! You found us! Very cool! It was fun talking and trading with you at the NorCal pin meet!! Wishing you great success in your quest for Disney pins! And sure hope we get to trade again sometime! Take care, *bjr (Barbara)
P.S. I'm leaving you a reference for our trade.

Hi Barbara! It was great to meet and trade at the NorCal meet. I'm looking forward to the next one! Thanks for the reference for the trade. I have returned the reference I have used other forums with marketplaces, but have not seen this kind of feedback system - it's really amazing!
