Hi all,

I'm a brand spanking new Disney pins collector. I stumbled on youtube videos of collecting Disney pins when I was researching for our Disneyland trip in March 2015. I didn't know that there are Disney pins collectors. I researched more and I stumbled on this forum. Looking forward to learn more from all of you. I hail from Oregon, USA and I have a pampering business plus full time job to keep me busy. Nice to meet you all!

Welcome to the forum!

It's a fun hobby with lots of unique ways to really personalize a collection. I know you'll meet lots of wonderful and knowledgeable people on here to help you get ready for trading on your trip :)

Do you have an idea what you want to collect yet?

That's the hard part for me. I love all cutesy stuff and pair that with Disney = I can't decide. I know that I want some Toy Story, Mulan, Snow White, Cinderella, Peter Pan, and Lilo & Stitch pins. I am sure that I will find more that I want to collect. How do you keep just choosing a few instead of a bunch?

It's a challenge sometimes.
I typically go after pins that are connected to a good memory, making them extra special. I'll want the pins that are pretty but I'll wait for the pins that will mean more in the long run :)
I hope that helps a little

Hi and welcome to the forums and to the wonderful world of pins!! Do you have any particular collections you're hoping on starting? (If not, that's cool too. To me, the best collections are those that are "hey, I like that. In the collection it goes!")
