Hello DPF!

Alex (aka icewolf08) from SLC, UT here. Stumbled across the forums while organizing my growing pin collection. Just got home from what seems to have become a biennial family trip to DLR/DCA. Been pin trading in the parks for a while, only to find now that there is a pretty big online community of pin traders and collectors as well. I have recently begun to peruse PinPics and assemble my collection and wants and traders. You can find me there under the same handle as here.

I have always been interested in collecting pins. I started kinda willy-nilly, but then began to focus more on the things I enjoy. I had a great collection of SLC Olympic pins that were sadly lost in a fire, but I have a collection of interesting pin art from Geocaching as well as my Disney collection. As far as Disney goes, my all-time favorite has to be Sorcerer Mickey, beyond that I just look for pins that make me happy.

Anyway, glad to be here, hopefully will make some new friends, and now I am off to peruse the forums.

Welcome Alex! OOooooooh pins and geocaching? I've never been so lucky to stumble across one. But that's so cool! I'm sorry to hear about the fire, and I hope you have a wonderful time with your growing pin collection and here on the forums!

Indeed, there are a couple geocoin makers who produce coin and pin sets. Pretty cool.
