:wavey: Hello everyone. I hope yall can bare with me I am super new to this. I am a mom of four from Arkansas and just started to get into the disney pin trading. We took our first family WDW vacation last year and our second one this summer. I think we are ready to start trading when we go next year. Any tips or advice are always welcome.

My advice is...rather than collecting everything, try to focus your collection on specific characters or movies as that will happen over time but you wouldnt have spent time and money getting pins you will end up trying to get rid of later...

Thank you for that advice. I am trying hard to work on that. They are all so cute. I keep trying to tell myself stop buying and wait to trade. lol

Hi ya katiek77!! Very glad you have joined our group!! Welcome and best wishes on your pin collections!! Zakash55 is right ... keeping your focus on a specific character, movie, or type of pin (especially at first), will help you from becoming overwhelmed! With all the pins that are out there, it's easy to get lost in the world of shiny pins ... soooo many pins and they are all soooo pretty!! Lol!! :wavey:

There is a pin book located in the guest service area at Down Town Disney. There are loads of pins in there to choose from. I know sometimes there is a pin board at the pin shop by the trains also at dtd, but it isn't open all of the time.

Welcome katiek77! I'm new here myself, and also new to pin collecting and trading, so I can't really offer any tips or advice, but I've been reading through the boards here, and there's loads of great tips on trading etiquette, places to trade, and loads of other useful information that, while a bit overwhelming at first glance, is so very, very helpful.
