Hello,

I want to formally introduce myself to my fellow pintraders/pin lovers. My name is Valerie, I first got into pins last year after getting my first pins, when I got my Disneyland AP. I had only traded with cast members up until early this year. Ive been a DPF member since February of this year, but never got the hang of how to use the website/forum, And shortly after that took a break from collecting and trading in general, after a couple personal setbacks. But now I'm looking to get more into the pin trading community and hopefully add to my collections. I hope to learn more on how to use the forum & pintrading in general.

And with that being said, I collect:

~Sparkly/Cute Chip & Dale Pins
~& Certain HKDL/Tokyo pins

Oh! I forgot to mention: If you haven't already, you might want to consider starting up a pin pics account for your wants/trades. It does make forming collections a lot easier. (I believe that there are other websites that do this too, just pin pics is the one I'm most familiar with.)

Yes, I made a pinpics back in April! Its definitely a good source to keep traders/wants updated! Thanks so much for the tip! :chip:

You have to be a member for at least 10 days and have at least 30 posts in order to post in the DPF marketplace. (That's where the for sale/wanted thread is.) So just keep posting and you'll be able to make a thread there. :D

It does! You can check the number of posts you have by looking at your little profile thingy that displays next to your text. Underneath those blue, orange, and green bars, there are categories. The fourth one down is "posts", and that'll help you keep track of how many you have. 'w'

Hi Valerie! Welcome to DPF and the wonderful crazy world of Disney pins!! Disney pins are the best and you've picked some great subjects to collect!! :bigthumb: I wish you terrific success in acquiring all the pins you desire! I see you live in California! :D What part? North or South? (gee that sounds funny :lol:) The reason I ask is that we have a NorCal Pin Traders group that meets every month or so. Our next meet is November 15th in San Ramon ... check out the "Pin Trade Gatherings" board for more details! :wavey:

Hello! :wavey: Thanks so much for the warm welcome! & Yes, I absolutely adore each of the collections they're some of my absolute favorite disney characters! :D Thanks so much! And No, Unfortunately I don't live in NorCal, I live in the city of Pomona, about 30 minutes from Disneyland. Thanks Sooo much for the info, I'm sure the meets are awesome; if only I lived closer! :(
