Hi, All! Hoping someone can help me figure out what this pin is . . . the pictures aren't the best, as it is still in the original baggy:





I'd love to find out what it is, as I'd love to be able to trade it. Also, would appreciate any thoughts on what would be acceptable to trade for this (so that I don't offend too many people on PinPics by sending unfair trade offers! ) . . . I know older pins are different, and know nothing about this!

I believe they were made in Germany? And Sedesma is Spain? Although I think sedesma are lower quality. They were pins made before pin trading was a thing. Some people looooove them because they’re old and hard to find and others don’t. But she has a super high want/trade on pinpics so you should probably get a good trade!

Yes I can confirm that it is a propin from Germany. They were a company licensed to make Disney pins somewhere around 1990s.

They came either in a boxed set or on a small card.



I really like Propins. I have collected and traded them since I started with pins. I love that they have rare characters and not only the same poses that are used all the time on new pins nowadays.

Some people rate them like cheap pins and some rate them really high. Its super hard to know. Some charachters are super hard to find so for people trying to be completists they are a really good trade value. But you need to find the right person.

Thanks! Interesting about ProPin. I think this one just came in this baggy, as it is heat-sealed. Now that someone asked about it, I can read the ProPin! -grin-

It is small, and really detailed. I like the style and the quality is really good. Nicer than the Spanish one.

That is the tough thing with older pins, and I usually stay away from trading for them, as people get touchy when you inquire. You never know if they treat old pins like platinum or like dirt. Gets me all confused and I just get nervous to send trade requests. But, I got this one and don't collect Lady, so that's why I asked! If I send a trade request, I don't want to be too unfair right form the start! -grin-
