HELP! Help with cleaning pin

Awww, I’ve missed our chats! 🫶

The seller responded suggesting I try Goof off or Goo Gone and if that doesn’t work I can return for refund or keep for partial refund.

I’ve been slowly tracking down the State Character pins. I’ve got half the states to go still 🫠Haven’t come across any for trade at my local trade meetup yet.

Me too, but honestly I think you should get a partial refund regardless of whether or not you get it cleaned up to your liking. You are doing all the work to clean up a definitely not new pin!

this happened to me very recently also. someone was selling New, only included one image, and when it arrived what I thought was a photo artifact was actually a very noticeable factory defect.

i sell things on eBay myself, and i take extremely great care in describing and documenting my items for sale so that there is absolutely no wiggle room between what the user sees in the listing and what they'll receive. it's what i'd want as a buyer, i want to know EXACTLY what i'm bidding for.

so for the pin i bought, whether it was negligence or intentionally obscuring the defect, didn't feel right. i asked to return, but we reached a partial refund amount that i figured i could live with.
