Been lurking for a couple weeks, so I figured it's time I introduce myself. I live in Southern California and go to Disneyland a few times a year, but I'd never taken much notice of the pins. A couple weeks ago, SO and I went to WDL and did the Happiest Haunts Tour. We noticed it said a pin was included, and I remembered that years ago I'd been given a couple of the Millennium Pins for Christmas. So we each took a pin with us to the park and bought lanyards; that was the beginning of the end. Since then I've been scouring the internet for pins and fighting the urge to go back to the park just to buy and trade pins. I have to say, I had never seen the appeal of the Disney pins, but now that I've started I'm hopelessly addicted.

So far I've just been buying/trading for anything that caught my eye, but I think I'm starting to go in a Pluto direction; odd because, again, I never saw any appeal there before. I'm hoping to help SO get Kingdom Heart pins since the King Mickey he bought at the park is one of his favorites, but most of them seem really rare and expensive, so we'll see.

Thanks :)

I've been continuing my relentless pin browsing, and I'm blown away by just how many different pins there are! I know I should stop looking because it's just making me want to buy more and more  Also really tempted to go down to the new/reopened soda fountain in Hollywood to look at the pins.

Thanks!

I gave in to my temptation to go to the Soda Fountain, and I picked up the Steamboat Willie pin (didn't care much for the sundae though). Might wander over to Disneyland on Friday to look at the Christmas pins ;)
