Hi everyone. I gained an interest in pin trading when we took our first Disney Cruise in February. I noticed the elaborate pins on the pin rack, as well as the daily pin trading events on board. When I got home I looked into and was immediately fascinated. I've collected other things before but lost interest due to time consumption, space consumption or cost. Any of the 3 combined. I thought this might be a fun thing to do with my daughter.

I lurked on the board for a while gathering Intel about pin cards, scrappers, trading etc.I don't have a particular them for my collection. I buy or trade what grabs my attention. My pin collection thus far resembles my taste in music. I like what's "catchy," if that makes any sense. Having said that, I do like historical reference pieces (pins with Walt or classic themes).

I hope to build my collection and hopefully enjoy some pin trading on our next cruise in March 2015. So far though I find I'm buying LE's if the price is reasonable. I got a few sets but have only traded a couple with the little one as I'm buying keepers. I'll need to get some more randoms. In the coming days I'll head over to Pinpics and track my collection.
