Hi everyone. I am finally learning my way around this site! This is exciting and fun. Any advice for a newbie?

Hi Laurel,
welcome to the forum. Advice - Sit back, relax, and have fun. There are a lot of great people here.

I posted a reply to your question about zaps in that thread, too.

Aloha Laurel and Welcome! :wavey:

The best advice I have for a newbie is not to be afraid to ask questions. We're a friendly group and I'm sure that someone (or several someones) will answer any question you possibly could ask - and besides, asking questions is the best way to learn.

When it comes to trading, never make a trade unless you are 100% comfortable with it. Again, don't be afraid to ask questions - and don't be afraid to turn down any offers to trade. Remember if something seems too good to be true, it probably is - and don't let anyone pressure you (or make you feel pressured) into making a trade. A polite 'no thank you' is just as acceptable an answer as a 'yes, I'd like to trade, please.'

And most importantly, don't forget to have fun - or why you got into pins in the first place.

I'm pretty new too, but it has been fun just seeing everyone's wants and collections. Everyone is also super nice!
