Believe it or not, I just found out about pin trading a couple of months ago. I knew about vinylmation though Star Wars, and was about to break down and buy some, then saw Vinylmation pins and Disney pins, wife saw Disney pins now we (mostly I) hopefully will have our first collecting hobby. I only have a few Star Wars pins, but hopefully our collection will grow. We don't travel much and live 2 hrs from the nearest Disney store, so its ebay and online stores for us. Any advice or suggestions will be appreciative. I love Star Wars, Donald, Scrooge, and nephews, older Mickey and some classic Mickey Mouse club. Dying to get the Steamboat Willie pin

The wife is interested in Little Mermaid and Tinker bell so far, I hope see creates a account today

Sooner or later pins will be on your mind all the time ! My advice is to make a PinPics account (if you havn't already). It's truly such a useful tool, and it's great to be able to keep a track of all the pins that come out and are in circulation, especially when you don't live close to the parks (like me).

I am a Star Wars fan and have recently begun collecting Star Wars Disney pins.

Yeah I am the wife, the newbie from NC as well. LOL I really love the disney pins, especially tinker bell, minnie, and ariel which I hope to find more of. I think this will be a wonderful hobby that both me and the hubby will enjoy for years. I think it would be great to pass it down to our children and they can look back at maybe some rare ones I hope. I am like the husband I would love all the advise I can get.
