How do I make a pin look like new again?

Need some help pin veterans! I recently acquired some pins that have what seems like rust but I am not sure what it is. Any idea on how to get it off/what it may be if it is not rust? These pins date back to about 20 years ago, so rust would not be a surprise.

(As a note, I have already tried a little soap and water)

Try a product called Brite Boy I have cleaned my pins with it .They clean up very nice...Good luck...

Great question! I have also received some in the past with this issue and wasn't sure what you would do to fix!?!

Thanks for the advice! I'm going to grab some today and will post pics after to see if there is a noticeable difference
