I had a great time! Room was sickly hot and overcrowded, but other than that i made a trade for one of my grails so it was a good night for me. ^_^
I wish they would move it to the disneyland hotel. The room was bigger and it seemed to be much better suited in that room.
 
Thanks for putting up the pics. I keep on forgetting that this darn phone, I have to flip to the side to get the pic right side up :P

I found out via a search on the interwebs that there was a pin I'm interested in previewed at this PTN! Park 9 Vinylmation was previewed correct? The Phantom! And a release date of July. As I said I like Vinylmation pins; only kinda interested in the Haunted Mansion ones though... but a Phantom one? Yes please! There's only like a couple pins with actual characters from Phantom Manor on them; so I want that pin.

I would of thought the Phantom would of had his own regular pin by now... seriously he's got a pretty cool design. His animatronics are amazing too; and rather scary.
 
It was interesting seeing people literally hand truck their collections in. What I do agree with is that Vinylmation is not a pin, and therefore has no place at PTN. It would be interesting to see if they were to start a separate event for that. It might do rather well.

As far as the hard traders, aka SHARKS, yes they are always circling. They give trading a bad name and need to be put in their place. If you are out to make money in pin trading, there is this site called EBAY where you can do just that. Yes, I will ask for two 1,000 LE's for a DSF or low LE pin, but that is a fair trade. But doing the opposite is just RUDE.

I am beginning to learn who they are and have decided to just not trade with them. If we all do that, eventually they will have to change their ways. They also run the risk of getting us ALL kicked out of the park because of how they trade so hard. Guests DO complain about them quite often.

i agree with you applecore pin trading should be fun and there should be vinylmation trading night VTN only no pins in one room and other hotel is pin trading night PTN people want to have fun. the hard traders sharks should get kick out for not following the rules of pin trading it should be like for exmple january pin trading night, febuary vinylmation trading night , march pin trading night so on you kown right you cant wear vinylmation on you they dont do anything but just sit there and looking pretty
 
My wife and I had a good time. We had two objectives: Hang out with friends and see how many of the five remaining Mystery Stamps we could acquire in trade. We managed to get four out of five and had fun hanging out with friends.

I will agree that the event is overly crowded and the temperature of the room is very warm. I personally don't mind Vinylmation and feel the best solution would be to simply have the event in a larger venue where there will be plenty of room for both pins and Vinylmation and the air conditioning can keep up with volume of attendees, sine the main complaint is that table space is currently lacking and the temperatures are uncomfortable. Ideally, there should be half a dozen empty or lightly populated tables.
