Hi Everyone,

I thought I'd post a quick message to say hi and introduce myself as a new member.

I am fairly new to pin trading, my fiancé and I went to WDW last year where we didn't know about it. We discovered pins in a Bargin Store and bought one with my initial on it, then upon returning home I was curious and discovered our new hobby!

Its a nightmare though because we have spent so much money in the last year on pins but now have a Lovely collection if our chosen 'themes'. Worth every penny though I must say!

Anyway, we are based in Essex about an hour from London, and currently have around 300 pins and a bunch of trades we have collected from trading at the UK Disney stores. We are heading back to WDW in November for 2 weeks, this time staying on Disney property at Pop Century instead of I-Drive like last time.

Im looking forward to reading through the posts and meeting like minded pin collectors!

So Howdy!

James

Hello and welcome! Another UK trader & collector here, just down the coast from you in Sussex! Which Disney Store do you do your trading in?

Thanks for all of your friendly replies.

Sorapandora - I collect Haunted Mansion, Alice in Wonderland (my favourite film) and USA patriotic pins. My fiancé collects Donald, Pluto, Toy Story and then between us we collect Mickey head icon pins.

EDIT - to include a response to Vickichip, I trade regularly in Lakeside and Bluewater and occasionally at Oxford Street but it's pricey to get in to London these days. It's all good fun though when it's not full of scrapper pins on the lanyard.
