I have officially had my first bad trade, and unfortunately, it's with a fellow DPFer. :(

The story is, this person was looking to trade for one of the pins I had available. LE 600 :/

I contacted them and we had a match - standard stuff. This person wanted to wait a week so they could send out their half round the same time. Totally fine.

I waited a week and sent out my pin. I went to let them know, but their inbox as full. Ok. That happens!

I noted them on the original trade thread. A few days later, still nothing.

It's been about two weeks at this point. I'm growing concerned. Had they sent it out only for it to be lost in the mail? Had my pin even arrived safely? I have no way to know.

The holidays hit me in one giant rush, and in trade gone afoul is the last thing on my mind. I know I should have gotten a third party involved, but I wasn't sure who to contact, or even if this thing was a big misunderstanding.

I'd hate to leave negative feedback on this person, but it's been quite a while at his point.

Any thoughts a what I should do?

Contact a mod or admin (try broncobilly83 or dancecats) as they can open up a post in a thread that isn't visible to anyone else, other than mods, admin, and the two people involved. Then people can post what happened, etc.

*I know I'm a mod, but for some odd reason, I can't post in that area of the forum*

In my opinion, two weeks isn't TOO long, especially during the holidays! But I can definitely understand your concern, if you can't get in touch with them. Hopefully this will all work out for you soon.

(I agree with StarrySolo - Reaching out to a moderator is the way to go if this doesn't resolve itself quickly! Best of luck.)
