Hello, all, :wavey:

At the recommendation of one of the DPF members, I am introducing myself to DPF. I've been around here for two years and have racked up a whopping 18 posts, probably a third of those in the past few days. LOL. I guess I'm more of a lurker than poster -- I come for the information and stay for the camaraderie.

Hubby and I just retired mid-2013, sold our house in the "cold frozen north", and moved to sunny Florida last summer to be close to our favorite place -- WDW, where we have been vacationing 6-8 times a year for over 20 years. It's finally starting to feel like home here.

I have been trading for just over 14 years (only 11 online), and love the hobby as much today as I did back when I started. My two best friends have come from pin trades. While I love the hobby and have fun trading, it is the people I meet and the connections I make that are the most meaningful.

I collect Stitch (:stitch:Gotta love the little blue guy) and all related to the movie pins, lots of mystery sets, and lots of patriotic pins. We were married in Hawaii and lived there for a short time while my husband was in the service. Hubby "doesn't trade" but allows me to collect Haunted Mansion for him.

I hope to meet all of you someday, and to make lots of trades with you.

Awww, Judy, thanks! I would happily trade with you again too -- you were one of my very first online trades over 10 years ago. We've been around for a while. LOL.

I just looked at your trades list and you have a bunch of pins from my wants list.
I see you also like allot of the older pins like myself. I really hope we can make some trades sometime!!

As I mentioned in her zap post, I have been trading with Bobbie since 2007 and she has always been an awesome trade partner!!! I also highly recommend her!!!

Hi Bobbie!
It's been a while, but I still remember trading at Castleton mall and our trip up to the Windy City traders. I'm happy you guys made it "home". :)

Elizabeth! :wavey:

I still think of you and our pin friends in Indy. Yes, we're "home", and getting acclimated (but I still miss the snow!). How are you doing? What are you up to? If you ever get down this way, please, PLEASE let me know. I'd love to see you again.
