Hey y'all -

I'm helping a computer-challenged friend liquidate a family estate.
He was a collector of many things including pins, and google tells me this might be a good place to start. :wavey:

The estate has a nice collection of about 170 pins that are mostly 2-stamp* and employee* pins along with a few other Disney odd-lot pins.

* my friend's terminology, I know next to nothing about this hobby, but I love Mickey and Walt has always been an idol.

So, thanks in advance for all advice and putting up with my dumb questions.
I'll post a few pictures along the way and maybe try a few in the auctions.

Hopefully, there will be some fun and interesting stories to go along from those of you in the know.

Hi there,

welcome to the forum. The auction part of te forum is for trade auctions. No cash bids just pins for pins. It's a lot of fun to do ! But if I understand this clearly you're looking to sell.

It sounds like you have some wonderful pins. But your description is pretty vague. Haha maybe you can share some pictures ?

Ok, no problem at all, and thanks for any advice.

Here's a shot of one.

I'll post a few of the most interesting as I work through the pile.
It's facinating and sad... there are old buttons, coins, baseball cards, antique jewelry
some interesting and rare pieces.

As I got into it, all I thought about was a life being reduced to a few boxes of trinkets.
That's probably a bit darker than necessary.

Here's another one for the experts-
this thing is made of soft rubber- the colors are various colors, not ink or similar.

Welcome!

It sounds like you may have some good pins, but we wont know until we can have a look-see! Can't wait to see some photos!

Hoping to get some info on this first one.
The second one is the smallest pin in the collection.

Thanks! That is about 90% of what I am told are the most collectible of the group.
Since I am interesting in selling, suggestions are welcome.
