I love art - particularly Disney art - and I love being creative. So... I figured I would try my hand at sculpting because it looks fun. These are my first attempts at moulding. I use.... modeling clay (whatever that is haha) and acrylic paint. They're not meant to be "real life" sculptures, just more... cartoony versions (hence no hand/face sculpted detail - way too hard for me just yet).
These are my two pieces so far, Cindy & Ariel. Cindy has been painted except for her face (and yes... I modelled her off more the 'new' Cinderella as it was initially supposed to be a cake topper for my cousin's birthday, but it's too heavy), and Ariel was just completed tonight, so she will be painted tomorrow. Next will be... Snow White I think (in honor of my LE doll being shipped).
Sorry I can't seem to get the pictures the right way up!
I know you all love Disney (duh), so I hope you will appreciate them. (Please remember - they're my first attempt at sculpting haha :hsd.
